So I eat a lot of sushi and thought I had been to all in Santa Cruz county. Well I was wrong, but happily surprised. The menu is very thought out with a really great mix. My rolls were very fresh and more than tasty. The warm saki was very good not bitter and the best price I have ever seen. $3 for a large and $1 for small. The bento meal was very good! And for the difference of $3 you got 3 large fresh nigri. The teriyaki beef was really tender! I want to boast about the wasabi, wow what a super powerful flavor not watered down at all, keep water close lol. The jalapeno appetizer was so flavorful and the tempura was light and super crispy. In total for 3 rolls, a large bento beef teriyaki meal, an appetizer and 2 large saki for under $100. Wow, I can't wait to go back! Will definitely tell my friends. The only thing I would say that could be improved was the timing of staff care. They were all super nice, but it took a long time to get our food, and the people behind us came after us and we're all ready paying after eating before our food was served. Music could be more Japanese themed. However that being said, everything else was above par!

Solid sushi in the Santa Cruz mountains but didn't blow me away. The ginger honey tea was incredible though!

It's often packed, and they don't accept orders past 8pm, but if you're lucky enough to get seated at Sushi San, you are in for a treat. Despite its unpretentious location next to the CVS/Safeway in Felton, it is one of the best sushi places in all of Santa Cruz County. We especially love the (gluten free!) agedashi tofu, and pretty much all of their rolls. They also offer an amazing maki combo with 3 different half rolls for $14.95, or 3 full rolls for $24.95.

This is by far our favorite restaurant in SC mountains, and even has a fun interior with fish tanks and plants along the walls. The owner is especially kind. A hidden gem!

I absolutely love the food at this place. Very reasonable prices. Clean flavors and great presentation. They have aquariums all over the restaurant and they're beautiful. The only problem I have is that the service is mixed. I've had very good experiences and sometimes I've had experiences where I've been more or less ignored at my table when ordering. Otherwise I absolutely love this place.

I can't believe I waited so long to try this spot. I've been here three times now and every time it has been absolutely fantastic. The service is great and the food is amazing!

The food is great. The atmosphere is relaxing. And on a good night, it's quiet.
