Staff was super friendly, and it’s such a cozy environment! Avo toast was 10/10 and the roasted tofu was flavorful and smoked. The latte was perfect
Sweet little spot on Main Street in Felton. Good food and just fun!

I have lived in the area for about two years and just discovered this place. Please don't go, I don't want it to get busy.
It is truly a gem and the books that are shared with guests show how much the owner loves what they do, and that is felt in every aspect of the restaurant. Highly recommend, but regret having to do so!

I've been to The Grove for breakfast/brunch many times and have had some great experiences with great food.
Sadly, the last few times I've been I've had pretty meh experiences. Monday (thank you for being open on a Monday!) I went there with a friend and my husband and arrived at 11:15 am. We waited in line for quite some time (which is totally fine!) and when we got up to the register to order our breakfast sandwiches, we were told that breakfast was no longer served after 11:30 - it was 11:38 (even though the people in front of us were able to order breakfast past the cut off time). Super disappointed and frustrated, my husband and I both got the Curry Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was beautiful in aesthetics but incredibly dry and flavorless - dry bread with nothing on it and dry chicken with some sliced almonds, no salt, no seasoning, no moisture. I also ordered an espresso drink, which sometimes is wonderful, other times like Monday, it was steamed to just over room temperature. Very hit or miss if it will be good or not. :-/
I'm finding it hard to encourage others to try The Grove or go back myself when my meal is $75 with tip for two coffee drinks, two dry and lackluster sandwiches, and a dry pastry. Also, it's often very cold inside so eating there isn't super comfortable. The staff is sometimes very nice, sometimes dismissive. :-/
I tried to email this instead of doing a public review but the email bounced back.

This bakery was so quaint and lovely. The menu was pretty extensive given the small size of the shop. My berry pastry is phenomenal. I would recommend this to anyone

This place is one of the best food & coffee spots in town! I love coming here when I have an open morning. They accommodate my GF and dairy allergies every time (and they have the best gf bread in town). Kind staff and the best ceramic cups!!

The Grove consistently has amazing food & drinks! It’s one of my favorite casual breakfast spots tucked away in the Santa Cruz Mountains just outside of town. They also do fun themed dinners every so often! I recently went to their plant based 5 course Shroomami themed dinner and every dish was incredible and it was super affordable for this type of service. I can’t not recommend this place more for locals & visitors from out of town!

The food is decent, and the employees are very nice. However, the portions are very small (egg and toast we were brought a single egg) and the service is extremely slow.
Although it’s a cafe, expect to spend at least 15 mins waiting to order (even with a short line, as orders are taken very slowly) and 30+ mins waiting for food.

Healthy, delicious food and TWO sweet little patios to choose from! Our new favorite “go to” lunch place in the mountains. The mushroom toast was among the best I’ve ever had. Salad and soups perfectly seasoned and just right for a post hike lunch. Try it—-you will not be disappointed!

I had the most delicious mushroom sandwich, with a moist carrot cake and fresh pineapple espresso drink. Good service, cute cafe. Dogs allowed on back patio
