First time eating here. Overall very impressed by the food. We had the grilled cheese special, the biscuit sandwich, and the strawberry and beet salad. Very good flavors. And pleasantly surprised to find out that they do indeed have mimosas, was not expecting them to have any booze so, I can officially call it brunch! Will definitely be back, and now I’m extra sad that I missed the French versus Italian community night dinner.

This spot nails it on all fronts! The avocado toast is absolutely delicious, and the staff are so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is just right, giving off those cozy vibes that make you want to stay a little longer. And let's not forget about the latte – it's top-notch. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

We had a trip in Santa Cruz where we had tickets to the train in Felton and stopped here for breakfast and coffee before our ride and I am so glad we did! This place is just lovely - from the fresh flowers, to the retro walls, to the sunny atmosphere, the vibe was instantly inviting. The food was fantastic! We got the basic egg, cheese and bacon sandwich on Sourdough and my kids loved it. I ordered the Chia pudding and was surprised by it's beautiful purple color! With the homemade granola and fresh fruit, it was just divine - and had the best texture too! We also got the daily toast special which was Japanese milk bread with pear and lemon zest and cardamom and melted brie - amazing! We also got the honey bear latte and the special cardamom latte and both were exceptional. I felt nourished after I left, but didn't feel heavy, and also felt like I got to enjoy some amazing, fresh flavors! Would definitely go again!

Great little bakery with breakfast and lunch menu items and a cute collection of foodie items for sales. The ceramics they use are adorable. The wait time felt extremely long upwards of 30 mins to receive a sandwich. We got the biscuit breakfast sandwich though tasty it was incredible small and and lacking in substance for that price. The pastry options are wonderful with a variety of options that are ever changing.

I loved this cafe! I appreciate the vegan options and they did not disappoint. We ordered the rainbow tofu bowl, the chia seed pudding, and a slice of the vegan carrot cake-like bread. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it all looked when it came out, both the food and gorgeous ceramics it was served in. It tasted as good as it looked and felt so nourishing. The golden milk latte was also delicious. You can really see and taste the attention to every little detail, every piece of fruit in the chia seed pudding was perfectly ripe! Even my toddler was digging in to it all. Thank you for the lovely experience, would highly recommend to vegans and omnivores alike.Dietary restrictions: Great vegan and gluten free options!Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, a couple of little toys, and a back patio that we sat on so my toddler could walk around while eating without disturbing anyone.

Delicious coffee and phenomenal food, from pastries to sandwiches. The only turn off, is how cold it is inside. Literally everyone inside is wearing jackets and some even have hats. I know the idea is that if you keep the door open it drives business, but it’s a well established business now. People know you’re open. And there’s nothing pleasant about sitting inside, on a cold 52 degree day, feeling cold as you eat your food. Also, I generally run warm…. kinda just ruins the vibe - i can feel a cool breeze on me as I wear two jackets.

I am a fan of The Grove and look forward to the next time I am in Felton and can visit. I recently ordered their seasonal grilled cheese on their home-made gluten-free bread and was delighted by the outcome. Their home-made bread is spongy and tasty and worked so well as a sandwich. I also tried one of their herbal teas that came in a mini glass pot with an adorable ceramic mug to accompany it. While indoors was full and the noise-level was pretty high, it was still a very peaceful experience. Definitely recommend.

I have tried this space a few times now and I must be a slow learner. The snooty and uppity attitude from staff and I am guessing the chef/owner/cook is really grating and adds to the whole "hipster" vibe focused on looks not service. I am not sure you could create a space with less charm or warm welcoming atmosphere. I swear every time I ordered an overpriced pastry and a coffee I got the sigh and look with a "is that all?" comment. Not even really posed as a question, no eye contact. Food is good until it is not. The pastries, while consistently pricey, are also consistently ranging from mindbogglingly sad looking to OK / good. The warm foods are okay. I guess there are good ingredients in there, but it is hard to tell when it is served with a heaping pile of resentment and annoyance. I am done trying this place. I can't really blame the staff, the team hiring must select specifically for this kind of attitude and shoddy service. I can get better service, better food at Wild Roots across the street and far better service and coffee at the White Raven next door.

One item is a MUST ! *Passion Fruit Mochi Bite* - just get it. You won't regret it. I'm a weird texture eater and it had its own vibe... super delicious I couldn't even stop chewing before I wanted more bites. Only issue is that I wanted more... haha. Perfect little treat for a little one imo. To be honest, I purchased a biscuit egg sandwich. It was 13/14$ - I wasn't sure as I was a first timer, but it didn't disappoint & ITS filling af -- Well worth the cost. It had an over mediumish egg on it, and I'm not big on that type of cooking style for my eggs BUT I got past my lack of better judgment and thankfully, I enjoyed every bite & CERTAINLY recommend to others to try.. It's savory and sweet due to the aioli, and the bacon was cooked perfectly crisp, the biscuit is both dry and moist in all the right spots. I added some Garlic salsa they had and it was down the hatch fast. Can't wait for breaky again at the Grove. Next time I hope to enjoy the patio outside underneath the Redwood.

I was passing through on the way to the state park and stopped for lunch. The sandwich I had was fantastic (it was tasty and had a great balance), and they had a great selection of sweet treats. I definitely recommend. They have a deck out the back, and small tables at the front to catch the sun, which I did.I'm not sure the reasons but only takeaway packaging allowed when sitting out the front which was slightly disappointing (could have saved the waste).
