This is a little store way in the mountains of Santa Cruz. It's not going to carry everything. The selection is really limited, but the people who work there, are great! Very friendly, and can help if that's what you need. It's a great place if you live in the neighborhood and need milk or butter, or someone to talk to. It's a cool little gem in the mountains..

Really appreciated Jamie’s hospitality! She hooked us up with some yummy sandwiches, an amazing chocolate chip cheesecake brownie which she made herself, and some great pointers on local gems as my partner and I mentioned we were looking at some homes in the area. Will definitely come back!

***[UPDATE: Since July 2023, Ownership has transferred from Eric Kennedy to 2 equally colorful & qualified ladies of the forest vicinity. New Owners: Gracie aka "Tigger" & Jaime (hoo hoo provides the added delightful entreès to the menu ???) ]***I AM discovering a difficult challenge in describing "The Blissfulness" that one is filled with, after a visit to this 5-STAR Market & the charm that awaits those hoo hoo stay the extra clicks & perhaps ask a mere question OR share an enlightening experience in Life;*To evoke the Character of it's Owner & Staff, which always (i assure you) delights on muliple levels.*To brush shoulders w/ the Hearts of the members of this community & of travellers from near & afar.*To have your appetite satiated w/ a tri-tip plate of fixins, which literally melts in your mouth from the kitchen.*To hear the song of Zayante Creek, itself....which rises every so often to grab your Attention to make you it's partner IN A DANCE that only it can provide.(and last, but by far NOT LEAST)* To witness & behold THE BEAUTY of the fine folks (inside & out) hoo hoo uphold the functions of such a magical oasis. And it all starts w/ an owner, Mr. Eric Kennedy. He has a vision to share his own childhood memories of this very same market, to his own children & to all hoo hoo come to visit. And now, Jaime & Gracie contribute their unique charm & warmth for our appetites & thirst (or if we are in need of a smile or lifted spirits)I AM treated like familyI feel like family &I need to visit more often......i have just reminded myself. ?? Thanks y'all for such a gift as Zayante Creek Market. A rare gem. Please, come and see for yourself!!!~~~ an honored resident of these mtns., my whole 58 year stretch of Life.Humbly, w/ a full Heart, i share this. Choose Kindness & Give plentifully. You will be blessed abundantly.CbNightOwl -- ???hooo hoohoo hoooOOOOO!!!

Great selection of items. Great sandwiches to, and freindly staff.
Nice small store. It is a general store on the roadside and it also sells sandwiches. If you visited, you should try the watermelon and mint juice. Itbis refreshing. It also has a variety of beers. The lady atcthe store is very friendly.

Local friendly vibe. Eric is doing it right with the store, sandwiches, and bbq. Worth it to stop by if your headed to Loch Lomond and need some supplies. (drive respectfully through the neighborhood).
Great local store to grab a cold drink and food during a bike ride. Jamie the owner is great and very friendly.
Nice little roadside convenience store, well stocked and the crew was very nice.
