The best BBQ I’ve had in the entire state. Overwhelming my tastebuds with delicious perfectly cooked meats. Delicious bread, sides and plenty of drink choices. Staff were incredibly nice and made you feel like a local. Wish they had a shop in my town. If you have a sweet tooth they are conveniently located next to a donut shop too. Wish I had taken pictures of my food but it was gone before I knew it
I was driving through Fillmore and I figured I’d stop at this place this time and the food was amazing and also the prices were pretty darn good

I recently visited The BBQ Place and tried their 3-meat combination, which included garlic bread, macaroni salad, potato salad, beans, and a selection of tri-tip, pork ribs, and beef ribs. The garlic bread was excellent—a perfect, flavorful start to the meal.
Among the meats, the pork ribs stood out as the best, with their tender texture and smoky flavor. Both the hot and mild BBQ sauces complemented the meat well, adding the right balance of spice and sweetness without overwhelming it. The tri-tip and beef ribs were good too, though the pork ribs definitely stole the show. The sides were solid, with the macaroni and potato salads adding a nice cool contrast to the BBQ flavors, while the beans were just okay.
The staff was friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I would return to The BBQ Place, especially for those delicious pork ribs!

Wow, quite a ways from LA and Norwalk, but, if in the area, then a must try place for BBQ...
This place puts Dick's BBQ to shame on taste, quality, quantity, aroma, value for the buck, and friendliness!!!
The beans do need a bit of work, in my opinion, but no one complained....
NO MICROWAVES (yes, I saw you DICK'SBBQ) on sight at all, you can see the meats cooking and they are cut in front of you!!!
Really good food and bbq sauce, pricey though....but prices are up pretty much anywhere....I miss the fruit punch drink they had, hopefully they bring it back soon
