Don't believe the bad reviews. This place is fast, friendly, and delicious. The 2 entree plate was more than I could finish.

Local mom and pop place. I really like the wonton soup and chow mein. If you call for take out they make it fresh. I dropped in and found the woman making the wontons by hand! Authentic if you ask me. There aren't a lot of options around here but so glad we have this place.

The food trays are a game changer!!! I recently hosted a family gathering and was going back and forth on what to make. I decided to go with food made from a local spot and after searching some places, I found out that China Wok made party trays! I never heard of anyone getting their trays so I was a bit hesitant. I am so happy I landed on them and got the food there!! The portions were so great for the price, everyone kept raving about how good the food was, and the ease of ordering and getting my food at the time I needed it made it a great experience. I recommend that place overall, but now I have a new choice I highly recommend from them... Food Trays!!!! Thank you China Wok. :)

Super sweet owners got there two minutes before they closed and they were more than welcoming to help us. They had ran out of chow mein since they were two min from closing and the owner literally made fresh chow mein for us. Will definitely be coming here more often :)

The food is literally the most delicious Chinese food I’ve ever had. The way they prepare the food keeps it juicy and tender. The service is amazing and the people there are nice. It’s clean and has nice chairs and tables. The prices are amazing as well, Seriously the best.

A very simple store. It seems to be American Chinese food. As a Chinese, I can find a Chinese restaurant when I come to Ventura for a business trip. I didn't read the menu carefully, and ordered a Special Fried Rice casually, and it felt pretty good. The chef came out to greet me and asked if I was ok, I felt really good. Next time I pass by, I will visit again. Thanks

First off to many people are used to over processed panda express!!!! ?There noodles, and soup are my ? favorites. I grew up with Chinese and Vietnamese neighbors I know Authentic foods.Wonton and hot and sour are fantastic. They will even add more spice if your into that ♡Friendly owner.

It's like hospital food. I get the feeling that the person who made my food, isn't a fan of food. The whole idea of American Chinese food is wok cooking. Very high temperature cooking in a wok. It creates this perfect taste and texture that can hardly be replicated or substituted. Not here. The food would be SO good if it weren't improperly cooked. It's almost like steamed. All of it. And the coating on orange chicken should be fritter like. This coating got saturated and fell off the chicken I want to take ALLLLLLL OF IT back. The sauce tastes like Sysco type bottled sauce. I've worked in so many restaurants. Asian included. Usually, sauces are made by scratch as they are cheaper and tastier this way.

The chow mein was great, but everything else was just ok or not really that flavorful. The pork was beyond fatty, orange chicken was a little too greasy too. Again, the chow mein was top notch but that's about it. One of those I'm glad I tried it but I probably won't be back restaurants.

The teriyaki chicken was stale . Orange chicken extra soggy. But the coke was good ?
