We had a 6:15PM reservation on a Tuesday and got seated right away. It's definitely a more quieter ambiance than Jackalopes next door so if you want more quieter time it's worth going to instead and we didn't find the price point to be significantly more. 4 of us without alcohol was just under 200 and jackalopes was around 165. The service was friendly and welcoming. They did have 3 closed mussels in our small appetizer which was a little disappointing but the service and ambiance and rest of the food was about a 3.5 or 4. The shrimp parpadelle was a little too lemony, but the pasta was cooked fine. The mushroom risotto was flavorful and the cioppino was savory but a little salty. The shrimp cocktail app was very good. Go for the ambiance and nice service and decent food.

A very special occasion, memorialized by a top notch dining experience. $$$$ but worth every dollar.

French once soup was sub par. The scallops were undercooked , polenta was like a thick paste ,the bacon was cold and stiff and the broccoli cold, the hamburger tasted like it was sitting out with no juices . I don't this is a gourmet restaurant.

Wasnt great for the price. Go to the grill place next door for better service food and price !

This place looks and tries to be upscale, but doesnt deliver in any of that.

Service: Lady was lovely but kept asking us about starters (3 times)..WE DONT WANT STARTERS! I asked a guy for ketchup and he didnt bring it to me. 5 minutes later I had to ask another guy and he brought it.

Food: average at best. I had the fish and chips which was probably frozen and my wife had the cioppino in which there were 2 unopened mussels !!

We did alert the waitress, and she knocked 10 percent off our bill.

What was ridiculous, was that they add a 20 percent service fee onto your bill already ! You can ask for it to be removed, but the cheek of adding it after giving us those 2 closed mussels. Insane.

As I said, better to eat at the bar next door.

Embers was a quiet retreat from all the folks waiting for dinner at their bar restaurant. Food was good but arugula salad was drenched in dressing. Service from whole team was excellent.

Service was great ! Quiet atmosphere, delicious meal but crab cake app was not hot enough ... it was still delicious though. Had scallops and the risotto. Both were very good

Kind of a joke. From the prominent elevator music to the ridiculous red chairs to $60 for an adequate steak, to being assigned a 20% gratuity for a part of 2 without being told, skip this place.

A lovely dining experience. The service was excellent and the food delicious. They have a nice wine menu as well. Overall a great experience.

This restaurant specializes in a lot of seafood dishes but the quality of the cuisine is not good. Crabcake appetizer: not tasty. Dry. Cioppini: mostly shell n not much meat. The fish was fishy. Fish n chips: the batter was light n crunchy but very little fish inside. The French fries were good, though.

Embers has excellent food, staff and atmosphere! I had the scallops and they cooked them the way I wanted, seared on both sides! Panzanella salad was also excellent!

It was our anniversary and we were presented with a glass of Champagne- a lovely touch. The food and service was extraordinary. The ambience was elegant and quiet. Guests were talking and laughing but we could hear our own conversation very easily. My husband had the NY strip steak prepared with a beautiful sauce and I had a pasta shrimp dish- both were outstanding. The Creme Boule was delicious, It was a memorable evening!

We really looked forward to our dinner at Embers to help celebrate our 20th anniversary and our evening was perfect!

We got there shortly after opening for the evening, mid week.
We pretty much had the place to our selves.
SO nice and quiet.
Super service by two wait staff.
Nice meal, we enjoyed it.

There was a power outage that evening, so they said our 7:30 pm reservation was lost, but they could put us on a waiting list, and mentioned the wait time would be about 20 minutes. We sat down to wait. When I saw that there were open seats and several large parties that had been seated ahead of us, I went to check with the same hostess 30 minutes later, at 8:00 pm. She seemed to have forgotten we were waiting. She asked what restaurant we were waiting for and who we were. She immediately seated us once I mentioned we had a reservation at 7:30 and was requesting an update. The wait staff was polite and gave great recommendations, but we had to request refills on our water and tea several times throughout the meal. The shrimp cocktail and mushroom truffle flatbread were a bit bland. The Steak was good and the chimichurri was tangy, but not unique or outstanding for the price. I really enjoyed their French onion soup, which was served in a cast-iron bowl. The ambiance is nice. Overall, the experience was ok. There are a few small tweaks they could make that would elevate the experience, including consistently monitoring drink levels and evaluating the flavors in the dishes critically to set them apart.

The dining room was cozy with fireplace. Service was friendly as expected. However, the food was expensive for the quality. The shellfish from my cioppino was previously frozen not fresh.
