Excellent food, good prices, good service and AMAZING CHIPS AND SALSA! The owner is there a lot of the time and is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend it to all my friends in the area and go often for lunch with my co-workers. Really great little spot!

You are treated like family. To start with the staff is welcoming and extremely friendly. The food is amazing! We have tried the taco bar (Tuesdays), posole, breakfast combos, the kids meals for our kids, nachos, and my favorite the fish tacos. All fresh tasting and so flavorful. On top of that the drinks are fantastic. My husband's go to is the spicy jalapeno cucumber margarita and I've tried a few different drinks and enjoyed them all. I cannot rave about this place enough. It is fun for Taco Tuesday with the taco bar and/or date night with the cute outside patio as it's become our go to spot. It is a must try, you will not be disappointed.

David was amazing he was one of the best servers I've ever had the enchiladas and drinks were bomb.com!! 12 out of 10 he made us feel like family and was super attentive and the margaritas were phenomenal the salsa the hot sauces were so unique and spicy and he gave us like four different options highly recommend if you're ever craving Mexican food I got that enchiladas with Mole and shrimp honestly can't go wrong with this place thank you David!!!

I went back to this place, after a good experience on Cinco de Mayo... Everything was fine, and food was still worthy. But I noticed on my receipt, after I already used my credit card, that there is a "non-cash fee" of 3.5%... I've never heard of this at a restaurant, and the server did not mention. Who pays with cash these days? Just be warned about their deceptive practice. I will never be back. There are so many great Mexican restaurants in this area that are honest...
Stumbled on La Casita Olvera a while back. Stopped in for lunch this week. Again, not disappointed ! I had the mole enchilada . Absolutely the best I've ever had ! The side salad with pepita dressing is on point ! I wasn't impressed with the Spanish rice . I felt it lacked "sabor" I shared my thoughts with Israel and to my pleasant surprise he was not only open to hearing me out he took the time to walk over to the kitchen where I heard him mention it to the cook. It's a bit pricey for the area but I'll pay to eat really good Mexican food. Can't wait to go back. Have to say Michael B's review is no where near my experience!l Almost forgot,.....their fried ice cream a must! The best I've ever had!!

This restaurant it's our favorite place to go to get delicious meal and amazing margaritas. The employees are so nice and friendly. David is our favorite waiter. He's always so happy, always greet you with a smile and pleasant to talk to. We really recommend this restaurant.

Just sat down at a restaurant for 40 mins with no service. Waitress came by our table when we first sat and we ordered water because we didn't know what we wanted at the time. Two men walked in right before us, and two couples walked in after us. Our woman server got the table next to us to go containers and closed them out while repeatedly walking away. What finally did it for me was a couple, who walked in about 10 mins after us, got their order taken by our waitress. All other parties were eating their meal when I asked to speak to the manager. I really like the food but will never go back to La Casita Olvera in Foothill. We got up and drove to Avila's El Ranchito in Foothill. We have been sitting at El Ranchito for 7 mins-we have received our drinks, ordered, and are eating chips and salsa. @LaCasitaOlvera: you suck! Update: Thankfully, the owner cares about his restaurant and is trying to make it right. Kudos to him.
