Use to be a great place until the owners son was “put in charge”.

Not a good experience. The staff were not friendly. The restaurant is a sauna - hot, humid, stale air. No A/C even though it’s the middle of summer. The bathroom was gross. And as you can see from my picture, it’s like walking into a cave trying to find the bathroom.
The food was good but not amazing. Prices are decent for what you get. But the overall atmosphere is a killer.

We usually go to the other location in irvine. They are closed on Sundays, and the internet listing says foothill open until 7:30 on Sundays. We got there, and they were closed. I would call before going.

My girlfriend wanted to try this place out for the first time Hawaii chicken and we both ended up getting really sick. The portions were scrawny too. Disappointing.

We’ve never been able to catch this place open. I don’t understand why a dinner place would close so early. Even on weekends?? To top it off, they don’t even have some of the basic Hawaiian staples on the menu. Bummer.

Love Nalu's food taste, quality, and portions for the price, but have been repeatedly frustrated that the Foothill Ranch Towne Center location closes early without warning.I have had an online order cancelled by the restaurant while I was on my way to pick it up, and I had another online order scheduled to be ready at 4:55-5:00PM only to get a text message it was ready at 4:30PM.Either change your listed operating hours or stick to what you publish!

Every meal is delicious! The fish steaks are grilled very well, and even the vegetables on the side are very fresh.
Affordable, delicious and hearty, it will definitely keep the average person full. ‘Hawaiian Style’ is an Asian delicacy, with a variety of fresh fish rice, ramen, cold cuts, and sushi.
With such a "price", you don't need to ask too much about the quality of the service, and it is impossible to give you a sweet smile despite your busy schedule ? Although it is a self-service meal~, the small store is clean and tidy.
I hope the boss can continue to cook delicious food at low prices, and he should be given credit! It is rare that he insists on using fresh ingredients and does not use chemicals to add flavor. Asians may wish to try more. Personally, I think it is better to take away simple meals and eat them back.
Those who don’t like spicy food must not think that it is “little spicy”! Haha ?
