Pizza is great. You know you can freeze a slice and it comes out just as good when you unfreeze it and heat it up again. I use a little olive oil and apan with a lid to reheat.

Visited today and had a slice of Brooklyn Cheese while waiting for my cheese pizza for take out. The last Brooklyn pizza I had was greater than 50 years ago. I also miss the pizzas from the Boston area, Regina's and Santarpio's. Sal's was fabulous in taste and texture and certainly can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best.

$19 for a basic gluten free cheese pizza! they should review their prices! too expensive!
I stopped going here a year ago and don’t regret it. Worst service ever from this location. Mission viejo location is much better and respectable plus they have dining tables inside and never have to wait for a dine in order more than 20-25 mins from order time

Delicious pizza with authentic flavor and a perfect crust! The ingredients taste fresh, and every bite feels homemade. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the place has a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely one of the best pizza spots in the area—highly recommend the Grandma Pie and classic pepperoni slice!

Pizza is decent but staff constantly makes mistakes with the order. I usually don’t write reviews but previous visits similar things have occurred and had to write a review this time around.
1. Ordered two slices and waited 20 minutes to find out they didn’t put the pizza in the oven.
2. After asking about pizza 20 minutes later, they put the wrong slices in the oven so had to wait until correct pizza was put in.
3. After specifically asking for the right slices, still got the wrong pizza in the oven.
Took 4 total tries to get the correct two slices of pizza. Not sure how they can mess up the order so badly when the store was not busy during visit. Staff seems to be too busy talking to one another to pay attention to customer orders.

Absolutely the worst. No one at front cashier over 10 minutes. Worker in kitchen ignored me multiple times when asking excuse me at least 4 times looked at me and totally ignored me. The cashier and 4 other workers came from the back didn't ignored me again, didn't acknowledge me when I told the cashier no apology my order was wrong missed 2 orders of cannoli. Then wouldn't give me the workers name multiple times to make customer complaints the guy waiting for pizza stated I saw it just let it go it's not going to make a difference. Paying customers should be treated with dignity, respect and appreciation. Food is always good but all the workers are RUDE RUDE and horrible with customers

I walked in during lunch hour, I waited 10 minutes at the front counter. There was nobody there to take my order. Nobody cared to help. I asked one of the cooks for somebody to take my order and they ignored me. Horrible service, has many bad experiences before but this was bad. I recommend going here if you want to be treated like nobody.

I'm from New York so I like to think I have good taste when it comes to pizza, Sal's Pizzeria is good if you're looking for a quick slice.
Last night I had a white slice and a slice of their 'Brooklyn Cheese' pizza, both were pretty good. My biggest 'complaint' is that I feel they don't cook the pizza long enough. I'm expecting the undercarriage to be crispy and have that crunch, I rarely get that at Sal's.
But like I said, if you're looking for a quick slice of pizza, you can't go too wrong at Sal's.
Service is fine, pricing is okay. Small location so I like to take out. Try it out next time you're in the area.

Well you can’t please everyone
First of all the pizza was good and hot and well done (requested) so it was crispy.
The Cesar salad was the freshest cut lettuce I’ve ever had at a pizza place (good thick dressing too)
Unfortunately my teenage son opened the box and declared “I picked the wrong place” because there wasn’t enough meat for his satisfaction on the meat lovers.
I enjoyed the cauliflower crust immensely, although my 10” GF cauliflower pizza with three toppings cost the same as the 18” meat lovers. I wish allergen food wasn’t so pricey but I get its harder to make
I appreciated how diligently the staff made sure the order was exactly correct before we left.
The cannolis were take it or leave it. My teenage son ate it so clearly he didn’t dislike them.

Every single time I order from this place it says it’s going to be done at a certain time and it never is. It always at least 20 minutes past the time it was supposed to be done and it’s never great. Super irritating and definitely am done trying this place.
