The Bambi Inn will always be a 10/10 in my book. Read some of the reviews, and not sure what people are talking about. When I came in, I was greeted by a spunky young girl with beautiful brown hair and a cute pup. She was sweet and chatted me up, really made me feel like I belonged. There was another man who made me the best burger I’ve ever had. I was surprised to have such a good burger based on other reviews. I also met so many people from around the area and had some great beer. This is the best local watering hole around, and the perfect place to stop for a bite.

Butte Meadows. Population 40 ?So I stayed here overnight. The cabin was advertised as “nothing fancy” but the correct term would be dirty. No towels and no blankets, thankfully I was told to bring my own. Trash bin was full when I arrived and there was no key for my cabin provided. They just told me “you’re in number two, it’s over there near the bmw”.
This is a locals only kind of place deep in Trump country. Patrons were fun to chat with. Except for a few drunk older ladies dressed as hippies. Hippies are just mean people cosplaying as nice people.
I arrived at 8pm on Saturday and the kitchen was closed. No food to get around unless you bring your own.

Today's visit to the Bambi Inn is likely my last. The older gentleman serving as cook and bartender was very unpleasant. Before we could place our order we had to listen to his complaints about the new tablet ordering system and how much he disliked it. We waited at the counter for our food and he became irritated that we hadn't sat down somewhere. When the food arrived my grilled cheese sandwich was burned on one side and barely edible. All in all, our visit to the Bambi Inn was one we regret making. If that angry individual isn't given some hard lessons in courtesy and customer service I have no doubt that my wife and I won't be the last ones to spend our money elsewhere.
