Went here on vacation and loved it so much we went back a 2nd time. Food was absolutely wonderful and the staff is great. One of the few restaurants I've been to that doesn't dry out the salmon, perfectly cooked. Everything we ordered was super yummy.

The atmosphere is much better in the photos than in person--it was too warm, and it should have been cleaner. The hostess was very friendly and cheerful. The waiter was fine Food and drink preparation was slow and the food uneven--at best. We got a pizza to go, and we did not check it before we left. It was supposed to have prosciutto and arugula. When we opened the box, it had neither. That is a huge mistake and indefensible. We would never go there again.
We ordered to go pizza and it was burnt.
Excellent food and service.
Tomatoes on caprese salad needed an upgrade in quality, brushetta base was not a thin, toasted bead slice but rather toasted thicker roll, and scallops not cooked all the way through. I was a bit disappointed to be honest. Food was want to be italian and didn't quite make it there.

Ordered our usual favorite Carne pizza to go last night. Was really looking forward to enjoying Cucina’s usually delicious pizza. Sadly this was not the case. Ordered two of the Carne pizzas as we were having dinner at a friend’s house and the pizza was such a disappointment. No longer the morsels of fennel sausage and plump mushrooms scattered with pepperoni atop a blistered crust with perfect texture. Instead we had brought home pizza covered with dried sausage crumbs, shriveled thin sliced mushrooms and too much flavorless pepperoni on a crust that was akin to pizza out of a freezer box or Pizza Hut. Maybe the cost of quality ingredients has caused substitutions??? Would rather pay more and have the gourmet pizza back.

This was my first time dining here during my first visit to Fort Bragg and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a delicious Italian meal and wonderful wine. I made a reservation online for our group of four. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable about wine recommendations. The appetizers were absolutely delicious (baked oysters + garlic bread) and our entrees were outstanding. The pasta was cooked perfectly and so tasty. I'd dine here every day if I lived here. We also picked up a bottle of wine and lava cake from their shop on the other side of the block, and the lava cake was SO GOOD. We took it back to our hotel to have later and even after being in the fridge, we reheated it up and the bread was still so dense, moist and chocolaty!
Highly recommend dining here or even enjoying their shop! They even had live music in the evening as well and the atmosphere was very warm and casual. We dined outside and they had heaters as well to keep warm.

Came here for dinner and enjoyed our meals. There was music on the back patio but the weather was a little cooler than we wanted so we ate indoors. The service was fine as was the wine.
Huge disappointment right from the start. No one said hello or welcome when we entered the restaurant. The host ignored us until in asked him till what time they are open, he acted like his is doing me a favor talking to me. So, if the business is not interested in the customers, we are not interested in the business.

We stopped in here at the end of a long road trip drive for some celebratory dinner. The food was amazing. Kudos to the chef here. Our whole experience was soured by the wait staff. Our waitress was gruff with everyone she served. She was rude to the elderly couple who came in before us and were confused. I think they ended up leaving because of this. She didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks or appetizers and we ended up only ordering our main course and drinking the tap water at the table which didn’t have ice. The chairs were creaky, old and uncomfortable. She only returned once after dropping the food off and didn’t refill our water. There was a sign saying they had no restrooms but they actually had two gender inclusive restrooms which you’re welcome to use. This restaurant is handicap accessible, but might be a challenge to navigate in a wheelchair. All said, the food would probably bring us back again in the future and we’d just hope for a better experience next time.

The authentic Italian bakery of Mendocino is this one. We just went in to grab some snacks and ended up ordering multiple items 3 times since they were so good. Cannoli, Danish pecan and apple were so delicious. Ice creams were so buttery smooth and yum. Next time I will stop by to grab lunch or dinner. The two ladies at the Mercado were super sweet and got us fresh cannoli. Definitely visit this place and grab some goodies if you are passing by.
