We stopped in here at the end of a long road trip drive for some celebratory dinner. The food was amazing. Kudos to the chef here. Our whole experience was soured by the wait staff. Our waitress was gruff with everyone she served. She was rude to the elderly couple who came in before us and were confused. I think they ended up leaving because of this. She didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks or appetizers and we ended up only ordering our main course and drinking the tap water...
The authentic Italian bakery of Mendocino is this one. We just went in to grab some snacks and ended up ordering multiple items 3 times since they were so good. Cannoli, Danish pecan and apple were so delicious. Ice creams were so buttery smooth and yum. Next time I will stop by to grab lunch or dinner. The two ladies at the Mercado were super sweet and got us fresh cannoli. Definitely visit this place and grab some goodies if you are passing by.
