I came here with my parents year after year, vacationing on the Mendocino coast as a kid, for literal DECADES. Sadly, as a grown-up, I thought... let me try some newer places. Terrible idea! D'Aurelio's is the classic for a reason. Look... they might not have a pear and blue cheese pie on the menu. Might not have aged mozz and agrumato on it. But it is absolutely perfect as it is. Leave the other stuff in Piedmont or SF. Bring the kids, bring the friends, don't overthink it, just go, order a couple pies, a big salad, some wine or beer or soda or whatever you like to drink, and enjoy. You won't regret it.

A lot of food! We ordered a full order of lasagna and a medium pizza to share between 4 people. Would have been full with just the pizza, and the pizza was really good. Good flavor and appreciated that we could specify thickness of crust, as well as if we wanted lots of sauce/cheese or a little.

Walking in you could tell it's a local favorite and for good reason the kitchen speedy making sure to ensure customer satisfaction. If you ask for extra cheese be ready they will not hold back, it was very easy to order and our waitress made everything super simple to understand and allowed us to make several changes to optimize our experience if we so desired. Would come again if in town.

Great Pizza! Actual real handmade pizza. Not like a corporate pizza place. This is a real pizza place with a bread basket, nice beer, good salad and lots of pizza options as well as Italian dishes. We had this pizza and a salad and enjoyed it.

Old hole in the wall pizza place that does pasta too. Really good pizza and lasagna I had was great. The service was not that great but I didn't go in expecting much anyway from the wait staff. The whole time the guys were slinging pizzas, it never stopped. Will be back for a different pizza next time visiting.

We ordered a pizza and pasta with meatballs. The pasta was ok. Nothing special. Sauce was kind of bland.
BUT, the pizza was absolutely delicious and massive! We got a small and it was 8 large slices (we could have definitely shared a mini). You can choose the crust thickness, the type and amount of sauce, and the amount of cheese. They will even let you split types of pizza (half and half). If you’re wanting good pizza, I would definitely recommend checking D’Aurelios out!
