I came here with my parents year after year, vacationing on the Mendocino coast as a kid, for literal DECADES. Sadly, as a grown-up, I thought... let me try some newer places. Terrible idea! D'Aurelio's is the classic for a reason. Look... they might not have a pear and blue cheese pie on the menu. Might not have aged mozz and agrumato on it. But it is absolutely perfect as it is. A lot of food! We ordered a full order of lasagna and a medium pizza to share between 4 people. Would have been full with just the pizza, and the pizza was really good. Good flavor and appreciated that we could specify thickness of crust, as well as if we wanted lots of sauce/cheese or a little.
Walking in you could tell it's a local favorite and for good reason the kitchen speedy making sure to ensure customer satisfaction. If you ask for extra cheese be ready they will not hold back, it was very easy to order and our waitress made everything super simple to understand and allowed us to make several changes to optimize our experience if we so desired. Would come again if in town.
