Over-rated, ridiculous costs for ingredient adds to an omelet...$3.50 per wth? A $19 omelet ended up being almost $30.
My waffle was chewy, very disappointed

One of our favorite places to eat in Ft Bragg. An old fashioned diner with large portions and good food. Breakfast served all day

I am a breakfast fanatic and was very pleasantly surprised to find this place. The food--particularly the large, thick, and tasty bacon slices and large, sweet eggs--was exceptional, as was the friendly atmosphere frequented by cordial locals. The server(s) (we went there twice) were both accomodating and very helpful. If I wever find mty way to Fort Bragg again the Home Style Cafe will be a sure breakfast stop!

Biscuits - above average biscuits. Great texture/ moistness but a little lacking in overall flavor or salt. Still very good, would get again.

I had read positive reviews and decided to try breakfast here. Typically, diners are willing to accommodate small requests, but unfortunately, this wasn’t the case at this location. As someone who's health conscious, I asked for three eggs cooked over medium with only one yolk. The waitress responded rather sternly, saying, “No, we can’t do that.” I was taken aback and politely asked, “Is it difficult to remove the yolks?” She replied, “We don’t do that here. You’ll get two yolks.”
What surprised me wasn’t just her refusal, but the tone in which she said it. There was no attempt to check with the chef or offer an alternative. It left me wondering why the chef couldn't separate the yolks or if there was no flexibility in fulfilling simple requests. I am giving 3 because food is just like any diner. It would satisfy your hunger.

Well. I don't know why, but lately we can't get food cooked the way we order it. Three times in a row. Medium rare sirloin patty was burnt black. Totally dry yuk. Then the over easy eggs were totally hard cooked. When we mentioned it the waitress thought it was funny and laughed. We won't be back been coming here for years, being locals. 👎 How sad.
Classic "ham n' eggs". On the main street, friendly, helpful staff.......priced appropriately. They even serve coffee in a "thermos" coffee as opposed to a cup at a time. Ahh.....the old days. Large "slab" of excellent ham, far too many "country taters' and 2 large pieces ot toast.
What a fantastic find! We were on the lookout for a dog-friendly breakfast spot and thankfully saw Home Style Cafe as we passed by. The menu boasts a traditional breakfast diner fare, and it meets the mark! Our lovely waitress brought out water and snacks to our pups along with our craft of coffee and mugs. The pancakes were fluffy, the syrup was warm, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy in all the right places, we also had a delicious linguisa omelette and a western omelette (not pictured). Definitely recommend!
