Well. I don't know why, but lately we can't get food cooked the way we order it. Three times in a row. Medium rare sirloin patty was burnt black. Totally dry yuk. Then the over easy eggs were totally hard cooked. When we mentioned it the waitress thought it was funny and laughed. We won't be back been coming here for years, being locals. š How sad.

What a fantastic find! We were on the lookout for a dog-friendly breakfast spot and thankfully saw Home Style Cafe as we passed by. The menu boasts a traditional breakfast diner fare, and it meets the mark! Our lovely waitress brought out water and snacks to our pups along with our craft of coffee and mugs. The pancakes were fluffy, the syrup was warm, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy in all the right places, we also had a delicious linguisa omelette and a western omelette (not pictured). Definitely recommend!

I am a local who comes here more than occasionally for a quick bite before or after a doctor appointmentā¦I have to say on Saturday morning before Memorial Day only one waitress was staffed to take orders on the floor - and of course she took a larger parties order before mine and after waiting 12 minutes by myself at an empty table I was just going to walk out - but, before I did I just politely asked if my order could be taken - thatās when I was snapped At & told she was the only one on the floor & the other gal, Julie was off the floor - (during the lunch rush) - ok - I got my order in & again as she was placing a napkin & tea āļø down for me - I politely asked if someone could hand me a rag so I could wipe the table as it was stickyā¦the retort was āWell - you sat a dirty tableā & why would you set clean items on a dirty tableā¦!?? š¤¦āāļø I always leave a $5 tip every time I come in - whether I spend $10, &15 or $20 dollarsā¦now Iāve been admonished twice before the sandwich š„Ŗ arrivedā¦thanks - but, no thanks - Iāll be going elsewhere after this!!

I am extremely disappointed as a local who has frequented Home Style Cafe many times. Today, I placed a to-go order for an omelette and called back shortly after to ensure avocado and onions were added. An older woman answered the phone and rudely informed me they weren't taking to-go orders, despite having just taken mine 7 minutes earlier. When I tried to explain, she interrupted me, repeating "we're not taking to-go orders" and then hung up on me. This level of disrespect and poor service is unacceptable. I expected better from a place I've supported for so long.

Great outdoor area for you to dine with your dogs, if thats ur thing. The food is delicious, many selections and Annette is the absolute best ā¦. and she is the reason we go back!
