1st of all im from san jose ca im here in fort bragg ca visiting i just ate lunch at the LA Playa Restaurant. If you live in fort bragg or just driving by have to stop at the LA PLAYA RESTAURANT it was the best food we ate here they are not shy at all the plates are full of food If I could give it thousand stars I would. The food was so good and the margaritas are very good. The two waitress that are sister's are so nice and sweet. Thank you to the LA PLAYA Restaurant the food was so good.

A very friendly staff helped my wife and I navigate the menu and figure out a solid vegan option. We we're in town for a week, and went to this place three times for dinner! Their habanero salsa is excellent!

We had a craving for Mexican food and are so glad we found La Playa. The entire experience was excellent. We had friendly service, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was very clean. We had the house margarita and a Cadillac margarita both were good. We also ordered a wet, super, shrimp burrito along with enchiladas and tacos. All were delicious. The al pastor and carnitas were tender and flavorful, the shrimp burrito had shrimp in every bite. We would definitely come back again when we're in the area.

I had a grilled veggie taco, which is not on the menu, but they were happy to make. And a plate of beans. Both were delicious! It’s not always easy to get good beans when you are on vacation!

These 5 star reviews have never been to a good Mexican restaurant before because there not a chance in hell you think this food is a 3-5 star unless you have never had decent Mexican food

Food was not Mexican. It's very plain like you're only getting meat and cheese. Taste is very unmexican. I ordered a burrito, and they upsold me to make it supreme to come with sour cream and guacamole. Their guacamole was a packaged green runny sauce that was not guacamole. Looked like the owner, manager, or waitress (not dure who she was) was yelling across the room about someone's order while I sat underneath her trying to eat my tortilla wrapped pig meat with green snot guac. My girlfriend read a review saying you're better off going to taco bell, we should have.
