Delicious and authentic Yucatec Mayan food - and that's coming from someone who lived in the Yucatán region. We had the panuchos and the king salmon, both super delicious and flavorful!! And, the spicy Mayan chocolate ice cream was literally the BEST ICE CREAM EVER!!!!!! don't miss out of the ice cream! I'd come back to Mendocino just for it!

So delicious!
We love the food, we love the servers, we love the ambience.
This is our second time here in two days.
The local petrole Soul was unbelievable.
It’s topped with Silver‘s famous champagne, cream sauce and served over corn. You will be very happy you ordered it!
We also enjoyed the traditional Cochinita pilbil, and the grilled pock chuc.
Basically, I think everything here is delicious.
We’ve only tried the spicy dark chocolate ice cream dessert, but if we were indulging, we would get everything on the desert menu. Wow!!!

The place had a great vibe - bustling with people and lively energy. We zeroed in on this place for dinner after looking at the special Mayan Clam Chowder but to our surprise it’s a lottery, they have the usual clam chowder today which is tasty. We ordered Tapas Trio which came with Empanada, Arancini and Salbute one each which were too good but too few. We also ordered a wet burrito which was bland, we had to get the housemade habanero sauce for a $1 to finish it. Finished it with spicy Mayan chocolate ice cream which was just right amount to finish the meal.

My boyfriend and I came for a quiet birthday dinner and were treated horribly. The hostess wasn’t polite or welcoming, but we figured she was just busy dealing with a takeout order. However, she then proceeded to seat another couple, which had obviously come in well after we did. When she returned, she told us there were no more tables for two. No apologies, no explanation offered, no wait time given. We didn’t even get a “sorry” or “have a good night.” Nothing but a nasty look and the cold shoulder. (To be clear, the other couple definitely didn’t have reservations and it was still early evening.) The hateful way we were treated was clearly a case of personal animus—the hostess took one look at us and decided it was ok to treat us like trash. After spending thirty minutes in the car looking for another place to eat, we were lucky enough to find another local restaurant with decent reviews. I would never return to Mayan Fusion, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

Upon entering we were barely acknowledged by the hostess. She then proceeded to seat another couple that arrived after us—again, without even acknowledging our presence. After she seated them, she returned to inform us that there were no more tables for two. (Reservations were definitely not a factor and this was early I the evening, so she could have at least given us a wait time.) The waiting area is tiny so this was clearly deliberate on her part. We were looking forward to a nice, quiet evening celebrating my birthday. Instead we were treated like trash and spent thirty minutes in the car looking up alternatives. We will definitely never return and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The Sole is so yummy!!

Our experience was not like all the others. Perhaps we caught them on the wrong night. The chicken fajita I had was served on a dish, not on a hot cast iron pan (as I have enjoyed such a hundred times). It tasted more like it was steamed than seared. My partner's two appetizers were below expectations. Perhaps that is the way Mayan Street White Corn should be; we do not recommend it. For maintenance food, maybe. But as I said, perhaps it was their off night.
Enjoyed a nice lunch at this restaurant today. The service was impeccable and the waiter made all the difference, he was outstanding!! We started with the fried Calamari which was so tender, not over cooked and rubbery. My husband had Panucho with added pork and eggs, delicious. I had the special Seafood Chili Rellano which was outstanding. Again, the service was spot on, such a nice guy and so accommodating.
Have been to Mayan Fusion several times after a recommendation by a former employee of mine several years ago. Yet to be disappointed! Everything has been so good. They have a patio out back for dining when it's nice weather, but plenty of room inside as well. Literally haven't had anything on the menu yet that wasn't delicious. It's my go-to when planning on a meal in Fort Bragg.

Had dinner here while traveling south, I tried the Panuchos, and my wife was just craving some clam chowder, she ordered a bowl we both kind of chuckled when we saw her portion which was more like a small cup size, the Panuchos were tasty and plated nicely. Our only real complaint outside of the extremely small clam chowder portion was the service, we were served by an older female with absolutely zero personality, no smile, no welcoming attitude, then I noticed the other two young male servers and they were the same it was sad seeing how unhappy they all looked like if they were being forced to work there.

Very good South American dishes, tasty and original. We ate very well! And the Welcoming and decor were original. A very good address in Fort Bragg
We stopped here during a road trip and picked this restaurant simply because it was open—so glad we did! Our server was very friendly and went out of his way to make me the best jalapeño margarita, customized just how I like it. I ordered the burrito, and on his recommendation chose the pork—absolutely delicious! My husband had the fish and chips and really enjoyed his meal as well. Great food, great drinks, and wonderful service. Highly recommend!
Great food, with real Oaxaca flavors!
