Usually I gripe about not having something like this in MY neighborhood. I might say, glad this is a rare visit. My waist line can't handle this much perfection with baked goods and not explode.

Scones are PERFECT!!
Thus ia worth stating again.
Scones are PERFECTION !!

Lightly crunchy outside, nice and lightly bready with great flavor and textures inside. My wife preferred the Blueberry, I preferred the Orange Cranberry.
I also got the vaunted Backpacker cookie. A real winner, but it is in the sugary side for this old guy. If buying for a family, you might want to hold those back for the next day, so the kids might know what they missed, but don't ignore everything else.
Great espresso. They are set for production (2nd machine).
Did what we wanted quite well.
We didn't have a chance to challenge them much. Hot milk for my mocha was the extent of that.
Parking is sparse for this area, you might have to walk a whole block. Free street parking, but this is not in it's own separate building. It IS a draw to this block.
I hear they will do mail order, and ship to friends. Ruin their diets, too.

I just had the most delicious cookie. The Backpacker. Passing through on a roadtrip, and randomly stopped for coffee. Delicious, quick, and very decently priced. If I ever come through Fort Bragg again, I will definitely be stopping!

A great place to stop for cookies, coffee, and other bakery items! We had the ginger snap, double chocolate cookie, and a lemon poppyseed muffin. They were all fantastic and full of flavor! The cookies were baked perfect, a bit crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The muffin was big and went great with a mocha! Service and staff were friendly and fast! We'll stop by for more next time we're there!

The ginger spiced cookie is divine. After this and the ginger ice cream from Cowlick, ginger is my new favorite flavor. The double chocolate cookie is also soft, buttery and crunchy around the edges. I get the hype now.

I usually get their chocolate walnut cookies and they are good. I decided to try the shortbread cookie as well. I consider myself a shortbread aficionado and this cookie fell short in my book. I wouldn't buy it again.

I heard these guys got a negative review. I overhead this as I was in line behind people who come from Sacramento to get these cookies. I am from Reno and come here a few times a year. The first place I stop is Mendocino cookie company. Someone does not know what a great cookie tastes like! I feel bad for them😢

I come from Sacramento area every year excited for the Mendocino cookie company and every year they never disappoint! The atmosphere is amazing and welcoming and the cookies always taste fresh and last for days with that fresh taste. I love to take them home back to woodland and show them what they are missing!!! Highly recommend this place.

The coffee here is delicious, and actually affordable, and the gluten-free cookies are quite nice.

Absolutely 10 out of 10. They have a chocolate shortbread that should win the Nobel prize.

I moved an hour away from the Cookie Co. a few years ago and not a day goes by where I don’t miss it, whether it’s for the wonderful variety of cookies themselves, excellent array of espresso and non-espresso beverages, personable and friendly service, or delightful pastries. This is the definition of a family owned and operated business and you just can’t beat it. Their prices are fair in a world of ever changing add-ons and service fees, and exactly the kind of business I enjoy supporting and encourage you to give it a try! Insider tip: keep an eye out for daily cookie of the day and seasonal specialties. They also ship!
