I will say the food I did get was relatively good. Unfortunately, the dishes were not prepared per menu. I ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup. Menu indicated it had tofu in it. No tofu was in it. I ordered the Fresh Spring Rolls substituting the prawns and chicken with tofu. What I received was a romaine lettuce heart wrapped in rice paper with overpowering vinegar dressing. I ordered the green curry for my entree with tofu. The dish was served without tofu. And to top it off no itemized receipt was provided. It was only after I left did I realized I was overcharged by roughly $15.00. I will not go back.
This place is absolutely a hidden gem, and the owner was lovely and accommodating in making everything vegan for us. The lemongrass coconut soup was ridiculously good, like seriously the best soup I've ever had. I don't usually like vegetable pieces in the soup but they were cooked perfectly and so buttery were ordered another soup to go because we couldn't stop eating it ? It felt like being in a cosy home kitchen eating food that mom used to make. I would come back in a heartbeat if I'm ever in the area again ?
Vegetarian options: The owner can make a lot of things vegetarian or vegan and was such a sweetheart about it ☺️

Nit's is a must try!! The food was incredible, if you go please try the vegan lemongrass coconut soup if available- wow.
My partner and I grabbed a second soup to go, it was so delicious.
The pineapple fried rice was delicious as well .
Portions are really generous and prices are so reasonable. It's a true hidden gem worth the stop, and as a bonus you get to walk through Nit's little garden at the back to a quaint washroom
Will be making sure to visit again.

Really delicious Thai food with authentic flavours and great value for money. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended! ?
I came into town at 2:30 pm after a 6 hour drive and was starving. I randomly ended up walking into this place after my original destination was closed. Excellent green curry with the best fresh vegetables cooked to perfection! Small place but big plate of food that made two meals. A very sweet and endearing woman runs this restaurant. I would definitely come again if in the area.

The plates and utensils were not clean, and there was an odor in the restaurant. This made the food unappetizing and questionable. It was not very good Thai food.

Wonderful Healthy Foodie Find, a WHFF! The lady chef I believe is the owner, she makes a large plate of food, very healthy, high quality ingredients, and it all tastes very good.
These are the places we need more of, come give it a try.

Premium spot but food sucked, eggs were ok, drip coffee, oversalted potatoes, over fried or re fried bacon, burnt toast, inside is great, intimate but bathroom is a mile away, you get a better meal at Dennie’s

Not sure where the high ratings came from, but it was one of those experiences where we should’ve walked out. Just a couple of highlights; used paper napkins with lipstick on them, sticky, menus, ordered shrimp, crispy rolls, got pork, main dish visually unappealing, and had to search for the good stuff l.
I don’t know how this place has so many 5 star reviews (unless they’re fake).I would rank this as mediocre food at best in general and, if you’re calling it Thai food then the worst Thai food I’ve ever had.The one person running the cafe (cook, waiter, everything) was kind to us when we entered. We ordered two soups and two curries between three people (my friends were going to split one curry). When the food arrived, we thought she had split the second curry for the friends as it looked like half portions. When the bill came, she charged us for three curries. May have been an honest mistake, but other reviews said she had overcharged them as well. The language barrier made it difficult to explain what had happened, especially since we were not given an itemized bill. The food was mediocre with lack of flavor, except salt. Typical broccoli/carrot/tofu mixture for the vegetarian dish but very skimpy on how many vegetables provided (also c’mon vegetarians eat a lot more vegetables than carrots and broccoli!!). I’m lactose-intolerant and I’m pretty sure the curry had heavy cream given how awful I’ve felt since eating it. Dairy was not listed as an ingredient for the curries and did not expect any as milk is not an ingredient I’ve ever seen in Thai curries.Overpriced, especially if you get overcharged. I will not be returning.

It you really have a craving for Thai food, and just cant shake that feeling, then this is the place for you.The lady was so kind and humble, clearly an authentic Thai experience. I however, had a bad experience with my meal. I will have to try Nit's Cafe again.
