We had a reservation, but were only offered the patio on a chilly night (being offered blankets for dinner is never a good sign) as the only available option. The food was good, overall, but the service was terrible. Waiting times for ordering and between courses was absurdly long. When I finally inquired, I was told that they had to serve a table of fourteen and were understaffed. Note to management: this is never a good excuse, and not the responsibility of patrons. We wouldn't eat here again.

Clean, comfortable, and we'll appointed room with a view of the river and harbor. We stayed on a Tuesday and the restaurant was closed.

A very lovely getaway within walking distance of the beach. Regularly seranaded by seals, ravens, and other birds.

Location location location. Beautiful location and nice grounds surround the inn. We had room #1. It was a mixed bag...
On the winning side was the bathroom. AWESOME water pressure. Double shower head in the shower was very nice and the large tub was good too.
The main room looked very nice... Woodwork everywhere and a highly decorated gas fireplace was perfect for setting a mood... But the mood was diminished by a floorboard that wouldn't stop creaking, including while using the bed. Would've been ok if in a huge building, but felt like the whole inn would hear us screwing. Guess I'm just too modest.
The other negative was ants. Little tiny ants just about everywhere. You'd never notice them if you were only in the room for ten minutes... But after spending 2 nights, I saw ants in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Highly recommend management get some ant-bait traps.

My wife and I recently spent 3 night at the Noyo Harbor Inn. Can't say it was the best experience. Friday night went ok a little noisy in our room, thought maybe the room next to us. But Saturday night for about 3+ hrs there was a noise that sounded like a dryer with a shoe in it, then around 11pm the staff decided to start cleaning items in the parking lot and talking back and forth to each other.
Guess our room (#4) was above the kitchen.
The next morning I expressed my nights experience to the morning desk clerk who's repose was that she didn't work that previous day. And that today was Sunday so it should be quieter???.
Was that supposed to make me feel better about staying there another noght??
Well this was our 1st visit to this area, Guess we will not visit again.
If you decide to stay here DO NOT let them put you in room #4 or #5 they are both above the kitchen.
I'll sign off as unhappy guest David and Nancy November 1st / 4th

We stopped here for lunch. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside and listened to the seals. This is such a beautiful location, along the river. The service was really great. We had the fish tacos (a special) and they were delicious. Next time we stay in the area I would love to stay here.

We used Noyo Harbor Inn for our wedding hotel block, and could not have been happier.

Noyo graciously offered us a wedding discount for our guests, and was communicate and easy to get ahold of every step of the way.

Noyo Harbor is incredibly magical, and our guests were so happy to enjoy this spot with their pets, never mind the delicious food and happy hour.

We've stayed at Noyo various times in the past and can't wait to come back for our first and many future wedding anniversaries to come!

We had dinner at Noyo Harbor Inn while staying in nearby Mendocino. We ate at 6:00 pm in order to enjoy the view of the harbor, which was in fact very nice. I ordered the scallops, served over rice noodles and it was one of the best restaurant meals that I have had in my lifetime. I had been concerned that the sauce, containing pineapple, would be overly sweet but was assured by the server that it was not and she was correct. It paired beautifully with the scallops. The dish was visually pleasing with different colors and textures. My husband had the crab stuffed sole and liked it very much as well. We ate early on a weekday night, so our experience may be different from that of a busy weekend night. We were very pleased with a low noise level, allowing conversation and did not feel rushed at any time. The dining room is attractive with Craftsman style finishes. We will definitely be coming back.

The server was a little slow getting our order and drinks. I ordered a gin and tonic that came from the bar it had a rosemary sprig in it that ruined the drink. My wife ordered a blended Margarita the bar didn't have a blender? The food was good.

Made reservations only to be seated in the worst table away from the windows and in a room with flying flies circling the room. Additionally, the only service we received was from the bus boy who gave us water. Other than that, we sat and waited for 30 whole minutes for a waiter/waitress that never came. We immediately left after that. For the cost of the food they serve, the service is a complete mess.
