The prawns and cod were both very good, and the view of the harbor really adds to the experience. We saw a couple of harbor seals swim past while we were eating!
Delicious and fast service as usual. Local favorite, best burgers in town
Fish and chips shop, got that and clam chowder. Hearty food, good servings. Not much flavor.
The fried shrimp and fries were amazing!
Coleslaw needed a touch of acid (easily fixed with the lemon wedge I was served) and the cioppino was a bummer, maybe because it was recommended to be eaten in a bread bowl? Kinda turned out like pasta sauce with a few hidden chunks of fish and some pretty shrimp on top. But what was I thinking ordering cioppino at a fried fish place in Fort Bragg?
Would definitely come back for the shrimp. The guy that took our order was super friendly and helpful. Nice beer/ cider selection on tap also.
Good food, and just a nice and relaxing place to eat. We enjoyed it.
So good! Tried a couple of other places down here on the wharf. This is by far the best place to eat. Fast and just good food. I liked the clam Chowder. I just wasn't a fan of the huge pieces of clams in it. They were giant pieces. I'm sure others would enjoy that, though. I will definitely come back here again. My mimosa was also delicious too. We got 1 fish and chips, 1 clam chowder bowl. 1 prawns and chips and 1 mimosa, 1 ipa beer, and a dog pattie for a total of $81 something that's with a $5 tip.

We ate here on a rainy evening, while on a short trip to the area. We enjoyed the atmosphere and it was dog friendly. We ordered the fish and chips, prawns and chips and a cup of coffee chowder plus two local beers.
Beers ? ?
Prawns and chips ??? ? large prawns and cooked perfectly.
Fish and chips ? just okay. It was cooked perfectly, but there wasn't much flavor.
Clam chowder ? ? large clam pieces and tasted great.
Overall the experience was good. Staff was barely polite. Portions were not very big and the price was high.

We came to this Noyo Harbor restaurant for lunch, based on a referral from a store owner. We ordered fish sandwiches and chose coleslaw instead of fries. The fish was fresh, light and crisp. The sandwich was dressed with tomato, red onion & tartar sauce. The coleslaw was the best I've ever had. The service was excellent & the outdoor seating gave us a great view of the fishing boats and seals eating & playing in the water. Great experience!

Only outdoor seating. It is on a dock, with nice water views. The food was good and nice staff.

Mixed Bag: Great Fish, Subpar Service ★★½
The highlight here is undoubtedly their fish and chips—perfectly crispy fish that's notably fresh. But that's where most of the excitement ends.
What Worked
- The fish portion of fish and chips was excellent—crispy exterior with fresh, flaky fish inside
- Clams in the chowder were generously sized
- Pleasant outdoor seating area
What Didn't Work
- Service issues: Staff incorrectly claimed they called our order multiple times while we were clearly visible, then blamed us for the mix-up
- Temperature problems: Most items arrived cold, except the fish and chips
- Disappointing sides:
- Chips (fries) were thick, chunky, and soggy
- Coleslaw was overly creamy and watery
- Clam chowder was potato-heavy with minimal seasoning
- Grass-fed burger was mediocre at best
Value & Verdict
While the fish itself shows promise, the overall experience doesn't justify the price point. Between the defensive service and multiple food misses, it's hard to recommend this place beyond their signature fish.
If you're in the area and craving fish and chips specifically, it might be worth a stop—just skip the extras and focus on the fish. Otherwise, there are better options worth your time and money.
