My boyfriend and I had an absolutely AMAZING staying here! Sunny (the owner) put so much love and effort into the look and feel of the Weller House. Not to mention, she makes amazing cookies. 11/10 would recommend!
My daughter and I stayed in the towers highest room (Seaglass) and it was an INCREDIBLE experience. The ocean views, the skunk train directly below us and all the surrounding windows in the room allowing for the ocean breeze was so refreshing. We enjoyed star gazing on the upper balcony at night and exploring the grounds during the day. The hotel is incredibly interesting with hidden gems around every corner. We absolutely loved the complimentary coffee/cookies in the morning. We took tons of pics on the grounds with all the beautiful flowers. We definitely enjoyed our outings at the beach and dinners but being at the hotel was probably our favorite part. Can't wait to go back!!
The coolest boutique inn I have ever stayed at. You walk in through this luscious colorful garden of wildflowers to enter this 1886 property painted in chipped white. Whether youre looking for something romantic or for the family, this place is perfect if youre traveling through fort bragg. Sonny and her partner were super friendly and accommodating, giving us all the history and info about the area. I mentioned my mother's birthday and they had gorgeous flowers in the room(thank you). Each room has a different color and feel, with vintage photos and rustic coziness. They also have a cool 360* tower that is the highest point in Fort Bragg. Can't forget the delicious homemade cookies, honestly.
might be the best oatmeal cookie I ever had. I want to visit fort bragg again just so I can stay here again. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back. Thank you for your generous hospitality

The property is absolutely gorgeous with a small garden that you can walk through. Location wise it's very close to locations to hike and eat. This is a boutique hotel so every piece of the house is different and unique. I enjoyed the nights of sitting in library and sipping coffee enjoying to soft music playing. It was a great experience and hope to stay here again
The Weller House was an absolute pleasure to stay at, with a beautiful large garden and historic architecture. Sunny was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to give us recommendations for sightseeing and eating places, along with some history of the house as well.
Had a really nice stay here this weekend. The owners were very sweet and the rooms and grounds were cute. We stayed in the side house and had our dog with us so we really appreciated the private entrance and quiet.
Only downside is that the skunk train is audible from the hotel so be prepared for that.
Had the pleasure of staying in the Opal room! It was amazing! I loved being able to check out the other rooms and property. We’ll definitely book again when in the area! ❤️
We had a wonderful stay in the Opal Room at The Weller House. Check in was smooth, and understandable that there was a fair amount of back-and-forth via text to coordinate arrival so that someone could be there to check us in. Delicious cookies, as advertised, awaited us in the lobby.
The room was very comfortable, cozy king bed and nice jetted tub. Fantastic water pressure in the shower, really a highlight. We would have liked a kettle or keurig in the room, as we wake up earlier than the 0800 coffee availability downstairs, but that might've detracted from the vintage ambiance.
The property was fun to explore, from the ballroom upstairs, to the gardens, to the water tower with its vistas. Walkable to downtown/Glass Beach, and just a block from the Skunk Train. In fact, train sound was a factor, with it coming back in after 10 PM, and then a pretty loud horn shortly after 0700. We didn't mind it, though.
We'll plan on staying at Sunny's place again in the future!!
My husband and I drove up from the Bay Area to visit the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse. Stayed overnight could have never thought how impressive and welcoming Fort Bragg would be. The owners make you feel right at home the house is filled with soo many details you feel like youve gone back in time. By far an memorable place.
Beautiful mansion with stunning and unique rooms. Wonderful hosts! We will return.

Beautiful historic home with tons of charm. We only stayed one night, but we hope to come back someday. The host was kind and very helpful—she gave us plenty of suggestions for restaurants and things to do. She gave us a tour and told us all about the history of the home and their future plans for it. Highly, highly recommend!
The house is under new management and the host and check-in process was friendly and also greeted by amazing cookies. The rooms are gorgeous and the grounds are well taken care of. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Fort Bragg.
The historic Weller house was an absolute dream for a romantic weekend getaway. The mansion has been renovated to emphasize the history of the property with a stylish and unique local flair that make this cozy hideaway a true treat to spend time at. The grounds are well kept and landscaped beautifully and walking and lounging on the grounds is an absolute joy. The rooms themselves are quiet and cozy, with comfortable beds and truly unique feel to each one. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and made every effort to ensure our stay felt like a home away from home. The local cookies, peaceful music and expert concierge is a lovely touch. Be sure to take in at least one sunset from the water tower. Truly a beautiful building with a rich history and as cozy as a vibe as could be asked for. Looking forward to come back in the future to see what new changes and improvements Sunny and Jeff keep making.
We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is under new management and they are doing all the right things! The house is amazing. Our room was great. We slept with the windows open and used the fan and we were comfortable all night. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The hotel itself is fun to explore and walk around. We enjoyed the coffee and cookies in the reception area and thought it was a nice touch. The location is walkable to downtown area for food or to catch the Skunk Train. Super happy with our stay. The staff were great! We would come back next time we are in the area!
This is the best hotel! The location is near the water with convenient parking right in front. Got a tour of most of the open rooms and they were all very tidy and clean, as well as beautifully decorated. Owner is very kind and accommodating, you can tell how much care and detail is put into your stay. If we ever visit Fort Bragg again we will definitely book this hotel again!
