Just don't. The vibe on this place was immediately odd. Decor is sparse at best. The building is huge, LOTS of tables and barely any patrons. For a SATURDAY! We were seated fast. Plates were sitting on the table, as they are sitting on all the empty tables, and looked as though my toddler grandson had been playing shuffleboard with them as they were all scratched to Hell. I honestly thought they were dirty at first glance. The menu is huge as is typical of most American Chinese places. Prices were average to spendy. Also typical for the area. The food.... Oh MYYYY. The food was just NOT good. Eggrolls I'm pretty sure were frozen. Not very good at all. The Broccoli Beef was stringy and chewy and had NO flavor. The Seafood Delight was awful. Tasted very off and also as if it came from a bag living in the very back of the freezer. No real flavor and did not look appetizing at all. The Mu Shu pork looked good, but was not. Over cooked pork, very chewy. They fold the pancakes so they rip out in the middle and don't keep them covered and warm so they dry out and just become brittle and unpliable. Even the tea was bad. Tasted like dish water and was bitter. No amount of sugar could fix it. The soy sauce comes in to go packets and the chop sticks are no better than wood skewers and splinter like crazy. We just couldn't eat the food. We were never asked how things were. We left full platters of food and when we asked for the check and was then asked if we wanted boxes and we adamantly said NO we were not even asked if there was a problem with the food. Two servers saw how much food was left untouched and neither asked how it was. The bill came and was dropped in a rush on our table with no word. Even the gal at the front counter (Owner? Manager?) taking our payment didn't ask how our time was. These people don't care. The quality of food is BAD. The atmosphere is BAD. For being the ONLY place in town offering chinese food, they have a responsibility to make it the BEST chinese food in the land. How is this place even open after so long? Fortuna, you dissappointed me. We ended up grabbing burgers at Carl's Jr. and THOSE satisfied us! No, we will not be back. EVERRRRRRR.

Great food. I wish they were open before 1200. They don't even answer the phone before noon. Sometimes they don't answer the phone at all.

Hunan Village is better than ever these days! I ordered a few dishes to go and they were all piping hot, great quality, and most of all, delicious. Service at the front counter was very friendly - I was all around very pleased. I highly recommend the Chinese chicken salad and General's spicy chicken.

I'm honestly disgusted I ordered takeout and found a huge spider cooked into my chow main I immediately called and they were so rude and told me to come in with all the food. I come in the next morning and the owner was immediately rude she said that we're not allowed to come back and accused me of calling the health department on her when i didnt. she said she never gives refunds and is giving us so much attitude. She said she would only give us a refund for the chowmain after I threw a fit. And I said no we didn't eat anything because we don't trust there's not bug in all of it. So finally she gave us half the money back and told us were not welcome back and never to come there again. Not that we ever would but the amount of attitude and disrespect she gave me is disgusting let alone the unsanitary place that they're cooking your food in. Never go there guy this is disgusting they need to be shut down.

Apparently, this is the best Chinese in Fortuna. The chow mein was bland, the potstickers were tough, and the food was generally off for what I prefer in my Chinese cuisine. That being said, it was definitely Chinese food geared toward the local palette, and it was a nice restaurant.
