My friend and I recently had dinner here, although I have been here several times over the years so this review is overdue. I enjoy coming to this restaurant and it's always a great experience.

I ordered the veggie burrito and my friend got nachos. The ingredients in the veggie burrito were fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous and the food is well priced. They also have keto friendly options if you are doing the keto diet.

The service was great and everyone was very friendly. It's a relaxed atmosphere that is warm and inviting.

Tip: The margaritas here are absolutely amazing!

I've visited Las Costuelas a few times, and unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing. On multiple occasions, I've experienced rudeness from the staff, which forced me to leave without dining. It's disheartening to have such an experience, especially when expectations for a pleasant meal are not met. I highly do not recommend anyone using them until their service is fixed.

Some menu items are much better than others. Quesadillas are made with very good cheese, worth trying even if you don’t add anything besides cheese. Flautas are my go to. If you’re looking for super authentic Mexican food, this is not the place to go, but they have a nice atmosphere and an exclusive party hosting space. Food tastes good. One of the better places in Fortuna if you’re looking for a dine-in experience.

Ordered the two carne asada tacos for dinner on doordash, the steak was so bland and very oily/greasy. Was pretty disappointed.

We ate there twice last week when we were staying nearby. The food was fabulous very very good. Served hot right off the grill which is how we like our food. I had shrimp tacos that were just outstanding. My husband had chicken, potatoes and enchiladas oh my goodness he had them twice. Can't see enough for this place The waitresses were outstanding the food was just superb.

Love coming in to dine or doing take away. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. I recommend the carnitas platter when it’s available (main reason I go)! The staff are always helpful and attentive.

The food was good. Service, however, was very poor. We felt rushed as soon as the waitress came to our table. We were told how busy she was and she did not allow my husband to order any drinks before she rushed away from our table. A large party was leaving as we came in, but I guess cleaning their table was more important than up selling our meal. The restaurant cleared out, but no check-backs until we were done. Very off-putting and uncomfortable. I know from experience how stressful waiting can be, but I hope I never made anyone feel that unwelcome.
