Unfortunately what was described as a menu was different from what was offered at the time. Keep in mind their Sunday buffet they advertise is not the same for the holiday buffets.

For the first year I can remember there was no crab available at the seafood bar; however, the price of the buffet remained the same. We were crammed at a tiny folding table, and the service was pretty inattentive. The quality of this experience has really declined in recent years. Sad as it used to be amazing.

The prime rib was good, but we were very disappointed to learn they eliminated the crab legs for the Christmas brunch after raising the price to $75 from the normal Sunday brunch price of $60. There were no mashed potatoes served at this buffet brunch. That's pretty much unheard of, especially when serving prime rib and braised shortribs. There was only one vegetable side of green beans. Bacon, sausage, and eggs were pretty good. Desserts were just ok. I expected higher quality fancy desserts at this price point. Beverage service was difficult.

Service was great. My party of 10 came later and it took a while for certain dishes to be replenished. You pay so much money you would think they would not let the food run out.

The food was Terry and of poor quality. The menu described a carving board and it only offered a fatty roast beef and limited options on the buffet . While servers were nice, there were language barriers. The restaurant was clean but the ambiance was comparable to a cafeteria I would not recommend this restaurant

The staff was very friendly and nice but the overall food experience was very mediocre for the value. We had a 1:00pm reservation and the amount of food left was very disappointing. There was no prime rib left. We were told to come back in ten minutes to find the prime rib raw and the employee telling us he “doesn't recommend us eating it” when asked if they can make it more well he stated that they can't. The mashed potatoes was as hard as a rock. And not edible...There was absolutely NO desserts in the ballroom seating. So very disappointing...When asked if they will replenish they told us no. Also, other than one salad there were no other vegetables just some corn. We will most likely not be returning in the future. :(

We went for the Thanksgiving Brunch, and while the food was pretty good, the food variety is definitely better during their regular Sunday Brunch, and Sunday Brunch is also $15 cheaper. One thing to watch out for - the bill comes as just a total so be sure to double check the total. In our case it was clearly too high for the two of us plus tax. Requested an itemized bill and found that an otherwise undisclosed 18% service charge had been added.

The Sunday brunch is always a delight at Cafe Florian. It's the next in the Bay Area. The servings are always fresh and the roast beef and dungeness crab was awesome. You can always expect outstanding service and a pleasant atmosphere. We have been coming here for the last ten years and it's always consistently excellent! The caters are attentive and the kitchen does a great job.

Buffet breakfast was great. Not just regular american breakfast, they also have porridge with condiments including Chinese fried donuts. Plenty of fruits strawberries melons, bananas and oranges. They also have waffles, omelets to order, and choices of bread and muffins. Our coffees always get refilled. Service was great!

The buffet was lacking variety. Most of the poplar items were gone at the time of our brunch window @ 1:00 pm. Staff said they would refill the empty trays but they never did. It is sad to see the price has gone up but the quality of food went down. Sunday brunch at the Cafe Florian has been our family favorite. Unfortunately, we will not return.
