Decent overpriced food
When the food first came out, it was quick, warm and tasty! However, the next day I ate the leftover for dinner I am quite shock from the amounts of cooking oil. I know that good Chinese food doesn’t need a lot of cooking oil for it to taste good, so I am disappointed by that. I had to throw away the rest of eggplant dish because I am pregnant and isn’t good for me. Although the service and setting/environment was great. I might try again but I will request to limit on the oil. To me it’s more of a Chinese-American food, almost like Panda Express.
The 3 dishes plus 18% tips, appx $75.

Really good flavor, but very oily! We came inside as soon as they opened for dinner, and the guy who took our order was rushed and seemed annoyed with us. We ordered four dishes, $20 each.
Wait time was pretty fast, considering they had many take-out orders. Inside was very clean and somewhat tidy.
The food itself (as mentioned before) was flavorful, but very oily (and even leaked a bit.) Portion sizes were also really good, as we shared between three people and still had leftovers!

Classic Chinese meals in a modern setting. Great for satisfying your itch for homemade flavors. Good portions, perfect seasoning, and not heavily oiled/salted. You won’t feel icky even after polishing off a whole dish. Generous cuts for the 红烧肉. I’ll be back for sure!

Don’t let the rating fool you. This is lackluster Asian cuisine. When I first came to this location food was on par with restraunts in the sf area. As time has passed the food has regressed and so has the service. I noticed that they place an emphasis on msg and not on flavor. Fried rice is dried rice and the chicken is salted rubber. If flavorless salty foods is part of ur pallet then I recommend as a regular of this place the regression is disappointing. Currently searching for a new go- to Chinese spot.

We had the cilantro beef, cold noodles, potstickers and egg plan in garlic sauce. This was one of the best Chinese food I’ve had. Everything was so flavorful. Too bad we don’t live near this place otherwise we would come here at least once a month.
Few hugs to note that caught us by surprise. They let you know upfront that they don’t take tips but automatically charge 18% service fee. They also don’t have paper menu, only a QR code.
My only feedback would be for the servers to slow down a bit. We had to ask them to slow down because they weren’t giving us enough time to go through the menu. We had 2 phones between 3 people so that made not a bit difficult to figure out what to get.
Vegetarian options: Great options for vegetarians.

Very bad owner. Food is ok. Mandatory tips for dining in and take out is ridiculous. Is this even legal?

Solid food, solid service and solid environment (not your typical Chinese restaurant). The owner has a special sense of humor if you subscribe to their newsletter (it includes coupon too!)

I was planning on having lunch here on Friday but I needed to use the restroom first. When I asked to use the restroom I was denied service. The server was very mean. They sent me to use the restroom right across the street in a Hotel I wasn’t even staying at. Very bad customer service.

We ordered string bean beef but they mixed with lamb, my kid could not eat it. We talked to them but they did not seem to feel bad at all. Never come back.

Spicy Hunan food. Run by a matriarch who takes pride and care serving her customers. No tips, just a flat 18% surcharge for dine-in and 7% for take-outs. Has potential to be great!
