Terribly oily and crumbly macadamia cookie + worst matcha i had. Literally full of clumps for 6 usd.
Very tasty and unique! If you want something very differant and satisfying this is the place. Brought these to a gathering and everyone was impressed and loved it. There was something for everyone.
The circus animal cookie was warm, fresh and delicious! I liked that the cookie was fully cooked but still soft with crunchy edges. I’ll be back!
In totality this place has the best tasting cookies from top to bottom. Antoines cookies and cream cookie is still my favorite singular cookie but this place is #1 overall. I'd say best in NorCal.
I’ve given this cookie shop multiple chances, but I will never support this business again. The cookies are already overpriced at $4 each, and to make matters worse, the customer service is consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. On several occasions I’ve noticed the cookies getting smaller. When I politely asked about it (after even calling the store once to check), I was basically told I was wrong, as if I were imagining things. Today, when I went in, the girl working wasn’t busy, didn’t greet me, and barely acknowledged me until I stood there waiting. When I asked if she could make sure I wasn’t getting one of the smaller cookies, she got offended and snapped back that “they’re all the same size” in a very nasty, dismissive tone. Newsflash: unless a machine is making them, not every single cookie will be identical. Then when I asked for an extra marshmallow on a s’mores cookie (which barely has enough to begin with), she acted annoyed and said there would be an upcharge — which is ridiculous when the cookies are already overpriced. Compare that to Antoinette’s in downtown San Mateo, where the same types of cookies are literally half the price and the staff are always polite and welcoming. The difference is night and day. The absolute worst part? As I was leaving — after she snarkily told me to “have a good day” — I could clearly hear her pick up the phone and start talking badly about me while I was still walking out the door. Completely unprofessional, nasty, and frankly shocking behavior from someone representing a small business. And here’s the kicker: after reading through other reviews, I realized I wasn’t alone. Many customers have reported the exact same treatment — and now I’ve learned that the rude person I dealt with is actually the owner, Sarah. There are even videos posted in the reviews showing her being aggressive and abusive to customers. I honestly cannot believe she’s still in business. I am in complete shock and will be escalating this by reporting her to the Better Business Bureau and to Foster City City Hall. This owner is aggressive, unprofessional, and abusive to her customers. If I were you, I would absolutely read through the reviews and watch the videos for yourself — you will be stunned by her behavior. Supporting a business like this is throwing your money away. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that values its customers.

The guy who is serving seems like he hates his job.
I was a new customer and I expected the service to be better, the cookie was melted. Expensive and bad service
Picked up an order of chocolate chip & s’mores cookies for my daughter & her volleyball team. All the girls and coaches loved them. My husband and I also thought that these are amazing cookies!
Stumbled upon the place while walking the plaza
Got a chocolate chip and the dark chocolate with sea salt. They were good, but the size and price don't match up. They are also on the crunchy side so don't expect soft and gooey. They are however, very oily.
Customer service also kind of stunk for the price you are paying. They do not want to
help you and make you feel like you are bothering them.
You also will not get a box unless you order 3 or more, otherwise you get the wax paper slips
Unfortunately a one and done experience for me. Save your money for better cookies/pastries/ or ice cream.
Go to place for something sweet 🥰

Lovely employees:)
Awesome coffee
😊😊
Cookiez by Sara is hands-down one of the most satisfying dessert spots in town! The cookies are absolutely mouthwatering served warm and gooey, just the way they should be. Every bite melts in your mouth.
But it doesn’t stop there. They’ve got the full experience from rich matcha coffee to ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, frozen drinks… you name it, they’ve got it. Whether you’re craving something sweet, creamy, or refreshing, they deliver.
Even their drink selection is on point: cold water, sparkling, premium bottled water, and all your favorite soft drinks. It’s like they thought of everything.
If you’re a dessert lover (or even just mildly hungry), you have to stop by. You’re going to fall in love.
Even better the next day.
If anyone knows me they know I love some peanut butter cookies. I stopped at the bank and to my surprise, this beautiful pink café was in front of me. I had to check it out but one cookie and got in the car. Immediately sent my daughter back in for a dozen. Melt in your mouth delicious and warm.
