Came in with an allergy request. No manager on site and the staff couldn’t understand the words I was using (language barrier on their part). It shows a serious lack of training when dealing with allergies at this location. First bad experience I’ve had at five guys, had to leave frustrated.

Burgers were dry as hell and had no flavor. The burgers tasted like straight vegetable oil. The old lady who took my order yelled at me for using my water cup then tried to charge me for their flat soda machine. I usually love five guys but this place blows.

We came here because of some fast food cravings. The store is located in Metro Centre, a beautiful and quiet place during weekends.First impression, big store but very clean. The floor, the seating areas, the counter top at the cashier and pickup. The staff was fast with all the others. They tried their best to meet customer’s needs.We order one fountain soda, a Hamburger, a Bacon Cheeseburger and Little fries. The hamburger was dry and very plain, but the bacon cheeseburger was very delicious. The bacon was fried till crunchy and the cheese filling was flavorful. The fries were burned a little, but still okay. For the fountain soda, we went for the Vanilla flavored Coke. It tasted interestingly thirst-quenching.Because it was a beautiful day, we went outside to eat and enjoy the day. The Bacon cheeseburger is delicious. You can choose your own toppings. I chose Lettuce, tomato and BBQ sauce.The fried bacon is crispy but not hard, and the bacon is not too salty, so when you eat the upper half, you only have the taste of meat and vegetables. When you eat the bottom layer of bacon, it also provides a change in saltiness and texture. The only thing The disadvantage is that the lettuce on top is too fluffy and falls apart easily, but the advantage is that there are enough green vegetables so it will relieve the fatigue.The fries are a bit burnt and bitter, but they are quite fragrant and worth eating.

Okay I would give them 5 stars if they did not have to wrap the burgers so tight in foil and smash the burger buns to shit. Otherwise I love all the toppings and it is a great flat top burger I think much better than In/Out.

The place is always dirty ... they never wipe down tables or sweep up ...As for their burgers they mess them up and make them sloppy by putting diced onions on bottom bun .. it makes no sense because once you add mustard ketchup Mayo ect you have a sopping wet bun ...The place is run by kids with no adult on duty .. the kids are great but there are things they just don't know to do like continually wipe the tables after use ... They are also overpriced charging everything ala carte ....

My 4 stars rating is obviously based on the fact that we are talking here of a fast food place, never to be taken as a 4 star restaurant …..Still definitely one of the best burgers you can get from fast food place, I love the fact that you are free to choose your ingredients and the size of the burgers is what you expect for a double cheese burger.
