When we first walked into the place, it looked fine. But after ordering, we soon realized that something was wrong. The vegetables weren’t washed: they just poured it straight from the bag it came from. The meat you could choose at the noodle bar was dry, and tasteless. Honestly it looked expired. We weren’t wrong, because soon after, two of my family members had diarrhea. In other words, this place is absolute trash. DO NOT GO HERE TO EAT.

The soup leaked because they didnt pack it properly. The food was 32 bucks and wasn’t good.

Still pretty good. It's getting more expensive. Less items since they added the hotpot section.

We had the Mongolian BBQ, with the amount of voice you have, variety of veggies, the price, and how fast it’s served, I’m pretty happy with the choice.

Entire work eats here Atleast once a week minimum. Always very satisfying. 10/10 recommend

I like the store but they should really consider opening up a 85 degree bakery here with boba.

I found this store by accident, Malatang exceeded my expectations?

Came here for a dine-in dinner for my birthday celebration on a Friday night. It was also my first time here and glad to try its malaban (without soup) & malatang (with soup). There were quite some customers and we waited a bit for our orders to be served. The staff/store owner seemed pretty friendly and welcoming. We had a fun time there, although the medium spicy was really spicy for my friends, so I'd say go for non-spicy soup base or flavor if you're not great at handling authentic Chinese spice.

Great Mongolian BBQ spot in Foster City Plaza, with now an added option of Malatang at $16.99/lb. Note that the Mongolian BBQ option is AYCE, for under $20 a person. With today's prices at the time of this review, in Foster City, the Mongolian BBQ option is definitely a steal for someone with a humongous appetite like myself! There's a huge selection of ingredients that one can choose for their BBQ dish or Malatang. Getting a seat was pretty easy as we came here around 6:45PM on a weeknight; there was only 1 other party of 3 when we walked in. Right away, the interior is pretty clean, well kept, and what stands out of course, is the malatang section towards the left. You grab a bowl and go ham at whatever ingredients you want. We opted for the mild spicy this time around, but next visit, I will try the spicy spicy! I enjoyed my bowl even though it cost me quite a bit (not AYCE for malatang option).Service - great! They were attentive in clearing the tables and introduced us to how getting your desired dish works. One thing I noticed was how a lot of the malatang raw ingredients are soaking in water. Once you get to the weigh station, the attendant actually takes a colander to strain out all the water accumulated in your bowl. Say no to extra water weight! I think that's great honesty that's hard to find nowadays, and because of that, I'll definitely revisit this place again.Great place to eat and I can tell this is a good spot for a quick lunch for nearby workers. It's in a great location with plenty of free parking and in a safe location. Major pluses!

Great value for money, been coming here for years now and it never disappoints. As unhealthy (or healthy!) as you want your meal to be because you're picking your own ingredients. Want vegetarian? Not necessary to add meat!Still have to test if they will accommodate food allergies and the like by cooking it in the kitchen, separately. Gotta come back next time and try out the new Malatang option - deelish.

Decent Mongolian BBQ place for a fast and easy lunch. Plenty of veggies and meats to choose from, and very fast and efficient cooking service. Some of the sauces are not very good though (curry is bitter and not very good with veggies). Also has spicy hot pot. Large parking lot makes it easy to find parking.
