The service was great and the drinks are tasty. Very very good Waffles, and the Puff cream sauce delish😋the drinks are so sweet and the boba is super soft and squishy

Arrived 25min before 10pm and was told they “closed early”. Very frustrating.

Happy Lemon is an okay boba place. My go-to at Happy Lemon was a lemon slushie with boba, which was honestly not worth the price and something I probably could have and should have made at home instead. I have also tried their boba milk tea and egg waffles in the past, which were fine but nothing exceptional. The main gripe me and my family had with this location is the service. Almost every time we visited, without fail, an order from us was misheard or done incorrectly, and we'd end up with the wrong drink or a drink without a certain topping, or even with an extra topping. It was a little frustrating, which is why we do not visit as often as we once did. Overall, a boba place to visit only if you don't have other options. 3/5.

Happy Lemon, not known for being exceptional, was exactly as expected. Solidly mediocre. Even after getting 25% sweetness, the drink still tasted more like flavored syrup. While some might enjoy an intensely sweet drink, this veered into sickly territory for me, leaving a lingering sugary aftertaste.

The staff, however, was very friendly and patient, giving us water when we couldn't stomach the sweetness of the drinks. We were able to sit and have a nice conversation inside, away from the cold, which was undoubtedly pleasant!

Overall, my experience was thoroughly underwhelming, but at Happy Lemon, I would expect no more!

Good Oreo bubble waffles

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service we received at your Foster City branch.

We placed an online order for a single drink and received a confirmation SNS message with the order number. Approximately 15 minutes after placing the order, we arrived at the store. I stayed in the car while my daughter went inside to pick up her drink. However, she returned to the car empty-handed and in tears. She told me that the staff had said there was no such order number and suggested she buy the drink again.

Initially, I assumed I might have mistakenly ordered from a different branch, but after confirming the details, I verified that the order was indeed placed at the Foster City location.

I then went inside the shop myself and showed the staff the confirmation on my smartphone. The staff checked the order number on the cups but couldn't find it. When I provided my name and the details of the order, they eventually found it in their system and prepared the drink.

While we ultimately received what we ordered, the experience was deeply unsatisfactory. The staff's dismissive attitude toward my daughter was unacceptable, leaving her upset and unwilling to visit the store again.

I hope you can address this issue with the staff to ensure better customer service in the future.

They used to do popcorn chicken here, but not anymore :( otherwise it’s good, your standard happy lemon!

Not a bad spot for drinks, I always get the mango matcha (nonadjustable sweetness). Their Genshin collab was pricey (bundle) but interesting to see, ends 12/31. Store can get busy during peak hours esp when it's warmer. Parking is super easy in the lot.

Their self checkout machine doesn’t work. My credit card was charged however the machine did not print the label. They kept saying “there is no label” without providing a solution. If the self checkout machine doesn’t work, what is the point of putting it there? Totally waste of time and money.

I went to buy boba for my kids after a long day at a dragon boat competition, we found our favorite place in foster city, Happy Lemon. We usually always get it at the serramonte mall, but since we were closer we decided to go there. I ordered 3 Okinawa Roasted milk tea and a Passion fruit green tea boba. All with 75% sugar and regular ice. Took me about 10 mins to get home from Foster city to San Francisco. Once home we tried our bobas, there were disgusting. Sugar low, and all watery. It tasted more like just tea with no sugar and Ice. Tried calling the store at 8pm multiple times and nobody answered, the phone kept ringing and ringing until the phone would stop. I spend about $30. I regret going there. Maybe if the kids working there would stop playing around they would had gotten my order correct. Had to throw the drinks away , was not about to drive back after a long tiring day.
