Really really really good food; I don’t mind the wait because the food is just really good

Before I ordered food from this place in the DoorDash app, it stated that they won’t accept any orders after 30 minutes because they will close. I met the deadline, they accepted my order and it clearly stated that it is being prepared. Later, the delivery man reached out to me saying that the restaurant refuses to make my order because they already closed, even though they accepted mine. In conclusion, I didn’t get my food after waiting for an hour because the restaurant didn’t even reach out to me that they wont be making my order until the delivery man did. Next time, don’t accept an order you are not willing to make. Will never order anything from this place again, very disappointed.

I had to go to the Richmond District today and I knew farmers market was happening. I told myself to just get a snack because I need to fit into a dress for the two holiday parties I'm going to on Thursday. Within 10ft of entering farmers market, I saw Kunugi Noodles's booth that had a picture of Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. So naturally I didn't listen to myself and ordered one lol!The owner was working by himself so it was a wait. But the okonomiyaki was worth it, especially because Hiroshima-style is hard to find in the city.It wasn't exactly Hiroshima-style because the crepe batter was mixed with the cabbage and the egg was pre-made (a fried egg instead of it being shaped like a crepe). But working in an outdoor kitchen has limitations and cooking it that way was the way to do it in this situation. It was delicious nonetheless! The cabbage/crepe pancake is where the seafood was. There were pieces of shrimp and squid that gave it a chewiness against the softness of the crepe batter. The cabbage added a smokiness. The yakisoba noodles were yummy and maintained a slightly firm texture from being fried. I also liked the amount of Bonita flakes added. It was just right to add more seafood flavor. The owner was really nice! Even though he was clearly busy working on his own, we conversed a little on our travels to Japan.I know this page says his location is at a farmers market elsewhere and I don't know how often he's at Clement Street's farmers market. But wherever you go, if you see his booth, check it out!

there's always a line or small crowd gathered around this place at the farmers market. we tried several times and they were either sold out on this and that or it was a long wait because they seem to work very slow. the chef has to walk to the other side to get containers which it just seems like a waste of time and an inconvenience for them. the girl at the cashier is way too soft spoken and lack of customer service. I finally realize the reason that they are always sold out is a result of poor planning. Out of the 5 things we tried so far, none of them stood out. the udon was still a bit cling to each other. the takoyaki was from a frozen package and the sauce they provided was lack of ingredients. (where's the bonito flakes to say the least)

To start off , the food is always yummy ! I especially love their pork miso udon and curry udon. The owner, who I believe is named Jack, is always so friendly and personable. The customer service is always warm and friendly.I will say it does take some time for them to prepare the food so go in knowing that it could take 15-20 minutes. I like to order asap and spend my time shopping at the farmers market so I'm not just waiting around. It is more expensive than I would like to pay but I do like to treat myself every now and then here.

We were craving Udon Noodles, found this place on Yelp and went right over to the Farmer's Market to check them out. I ordered the teriakyi chicken noodles and my friend had the tempura shrimp udon noodles. I would order both again but my friend let me have some of her soup and now I would order that instead. Perfect comfort food for these cold months. We will be back again!

To start with the portion and quality of taste compared to prices it is very not worth it! Also I had 5 plates ordered and was told it will take 20-25 minutes. I was taking them back to my coworkers. I went shopping in the farmers market and came back after 30 minutes to see that they have not started on my order yet. Again, They said 10 more minutes so I stood there just waiting. I asked again it had been another 20 minutes and they kept saying 5 minutes so I do not ask for refund or to cancel. I had to wait another 40 minutes watching they just refried everything and warmed up the noodles only the eggs were made fresh so I waited total of one hour and 10 minutes and paid $24+ a plate for warmed up food that was not even that good.

Located in the farmers' market, they've got solid offerings on your Japanese favorites. Their yakisoba is some of the best I've had in the Bay!

Overpriced and fast food quality food. We ordered beef udon and yakisoba. They were just decent, honestly for the quality of the food they should be $7-8 at the most, not $18 per bowl.

A very wholesome spot - you'll always see a small crowd waiting around this stall during the Foster City farmer's market, due to Jack's wonderful customer service and delicious food! Though him and his assistants are certainly busy keeping up with the many food orders, he always takes the time to say hi and is incredibly kind! Absolutely one of the highlights of the farmer's market. My bf and I have been regularly stopping by for a few years, and every single time, we have to get the shrimp tempura (it's seriously so good!!). You also can't go wrong with the udon or yakisoba. Full of flavor and tasty! I'd recommend placing your order first and then walking around the rest of the market while you wait :) Enjoy!!

Located in the farmers market in Foster City. We got the beef udon and beef curry udon. Both were decent, simple, and flavorful but the broth was a tad oily and the items were a bit pricey for a bowl/container. I think one might not be enough to fill you up if you don't intend to drink the oily yet yummy broth.
