Sometimes when you go for Mediterranean food, it can weigh you down, but not at Olives! The spanakopita was perfectly crisp, the Greek style fries decadent, and the falafel cooked just right. Had to end the night with baklava. Be sure to try to sage tea!

Terrible as a proud greek this place does not have good food and I don't recommend going here it also has people rarely ever speaking any middle east languages.

3.5/5 rounded up to 4 stars. Came here for a corporate lunch and they are able to accommodate large groups! We had 12 people and were seated outside with a gorgeous view. The food itself was ok, I think all of us thought it was on the saltier side. The greek salad didn't come with the usual greek salad dressing. Service was a bit slow and we needed to remind multiple times to refill our pita. However they have great lunch deals and portion sizes are good

The service was so quick and feedback on menu items for gluten free was so helpful! The food was AMAZING!! The dolma were so rich a delicious and I had the best salmon I've ever had here. No lie, it was balls. Such a well cooked dish with fresh ingredients on the side. The ambiance and view was calming and lovely. It was a little chilly but we were quickly brought a heater! What lovely people, service and food. A new favorite for sure.

A great place to eat with your dog! Not only did we get excellent service for our dog, but we also got a wonderful portable heater to keep warm outside while we ate. The food was excellent; flavorful and beautiful.

I had not been to this restaurant in years, but we went here for dinner recently. Wow. I had forgotten how amazing the food is! The hummus is delicious the gyros are wonderful, and do not even get me started on the fire feta please!! Everyone go here immediately and get the fire feta. Also service is wonderful. We sat outside but it did get cold so next time we'll sit inside. Anyway, this is my new favorite Mediterranean place. Highly recommend.

Cute place with an authentic menu! We sat outside to enjoy the waterfront. It was quite cold but thankfully they have heating lamps. I ordered the appetizer sampler plate, which came with tzatziki, hummus, baba Ganoush, falafel, olives, feta cubes, spicy feta, and spanikopita. Apparently the sampler does not normally come with spanikopita, but they included it because I showed interest! I'd say the spanikopita and the tzatziki on falafel were the best parts of my meal. My husband lamb gyro pizza and said it was delicious and saucy. Would return!

If there was a way to give a zero I would have. Traveled from SF to Foster City only to be unwelcome with utter and complete rudeness. The lady was rude and unhelpful. We arrived there at 1pm when it clearly stated on yelp that they were open. Maybe update your hours of operation? We arrived there the sign said closed but hours stated they were open. The door was open so we walked in to inquire if we could at least get food to go for our troubles and with the price of gas since we traveled out there. The lady said they closed for a HUGE party of 10!!! They couldn't even accommodate two other people for lunch. But they gladly took an order for a party of 5 for take out?!?! I'm also in the restaurant business and was appalled at the lack of hospitality. I would never treat any customer the was she treated me. You would think she would have offered to at least allow us to order food and we would have gladly waited the 20 mins she told the other people. And she did this blaintantly in front of me. The freaking disrespect and disregard towards paying customers! Been in the business over 10 years and I would NEVER treat anyone this way. I'm a human being just like she is and had I treated her or any of her family members the way she treated me I'm sure she would have a lot to say to me. 10 people is a large party for her restaurant....WOW! Maybe you should look into another career that doesn't include customer service because you clearly show that your NOT happy with your career of choice. Don't ruin another person's day just because your not thankful for paying customers.
What a fantastic Asian run Mediterranean restaurant. We had dinner this week and it was delicious. We split the Lamb Chop dinner. Three sumptuous chops with five bites each. Tender, tasty. The garlic sauce spread into the excellent seasoned rice to perfection. The cuke/olive/tomato/feta salad was good. We shared the brownie bite and one was burnt so 1/2 was deducted, good business.

After living 6 years in foster city we decided to eat dinner at Olives. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. We got salmon and babaganoush which was awesome. We will definitely be back
