This is one of the better lunches I've had in a long time. The portion size is huge and tastes really good. Simple abs fresh ingredients. The service is quick and everyone was friendly and helpful. I've gotten take out and I've dined in it's definitely better if you have the time to sit down and eat.

Came here for lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The place was not too busy, so we were seated as soon as we checked in. The atmosphere of the place is very casual and the staff worked like a well oiled machine to fulfill orders. We had skipped breakfast, so we came pretty hungry. Both my husband and I ordered the Beef Pepper Rice, but with different add ons. I had read the reviews prior with many comments about the food being bland, so we went into this with the mindset of making sure we got some extras to make it worth it. Everything came out pretty quick once our order was placed. The Croquettes were crunchy and good, the katsu sauce was a bit salty, but overall it went well together. Our sizzling plates were just as expected. I added an egg to mine along with crispy onions and we both shared a side of spicy crunchy garlic. Between addying the shoyu, spicy miso, terriyaki, chili powder and crunchy garlic, the sizzling plates came out quite delicious. The portions were pretty big for one person, so we will definitely share a plate and order more appetizers to try. Overall - We enjoyed our lunch and would definitely recommend to anyone who has not been here and wanted to see what the hype was about. Totally not for everyone, since we did walk away smelling like a sizzling food order, but nothing a load of laundry can't fix.

sizzling lunch is always so good. they have a variety of options from seafood to beef and pork. ordering is done from the tablet and sent straight to the kitchen. its very convenient and the food doesn't take long. they have plenty of seating inside. they also provide sauces on the side if you want to adjust the taste. cheese french fries 5/5 garlic beef pepper rice 5/5 pork w/ glass noodles 4/5

I only had their garlic beef pepper.ricr which came with wagyu beef, corn, green onions, and garlic butter.One cooks the food on the hot plate when it arrives and can add sauces of either spicy miso, teriyaki, or garlic shoyu.Portion sizes are satisfactory but not filling, and I would recommend ordering an appetizer or a side. Food arrives rather quickly.One orders the food off of a stationary tablet in the center of the table, but the staff come by to check in from time to time.The restaurant has nice decor and is quite spacious.

It was a rainy cold night so the restaurant was not too busy . Totally surprised with what was being served as I didn't do much research . Loved my pepper rice and kimchi pepper rice . I must have been hungry or it was really good because I finished the whole serving! Wish the server had explained to us about the sauces etc but we managed . Kinda like making my own fried rice ! Will be back to try the other options . We did not order any add ons . Location is great and parking ok.

Decided to try Sizzling Lunch during the week after I found it on Yelp. There's plenty of parking as it's located inside of a shopping center near apartment buildings. It has lots of good reviews and I thought it was going to be packed, but I was seated right away which was nice. The server asked if it was my first time and since it was they were kind enough to give recommendations and explain how to use the tablet at the table to order. It was my first time trying a hot plate dish and let me tell you that it's an entire experience. The server also recommends which sauces to add which I truly appreciated since it was all new to me. Garlic Beef Fried Rice - 4/5 - There was so much flavor in every bite especially if you add more of the sauces available at the table. I would recommend this place, but I'm not sure I would return as the portions were too big for my appetite and you can't really take your left overs home.
When you're in the mood for something new but feeling hangry, this is the place. Your food is prepared and brought to you sizzling on a cast iron plate, you do the rest to finish off cooking, mixing and adding your sauce. Cheese corn for starters then beef pepper rice and kimchi pepper rice. I'll be back for more soon.

It was a short wait this place is amazing I love sizzling lunch it my favorite I like the salmon sizzling plate and u mix it all up. The staff is so nice and friendly and they are very helpful. The place is cute and cozy feel it for me in my opinion but I wil definitely come back here again

Sizzling Lunch is notorious for long lines, so we made plans to arrive as soon as they opened at 11am. We were seated promptly and then were directed to order from the iPads on the tables. I LOVE a place that cares about cleanliness, and not only were the restaurant and bathrooms clean, but they had a container of Clorox wipes at every table. Our dishes came out a bit sporadically. At one point, all but 2 of us had our sizzling plates, and then the appetizers started to trickle in slowly. I completely forgot some of it had even been ordered, so by that time, I was too stuffed to try the chicken karaage. Out of the sizzling plates I tried, the beef with curry powder and cheese knocked it out of the park. Overall, we had a great experience at this Sizzling Lunch location and would most definitely come back! You certainly can't go wrong with sizzling plates and a variety of sauces at your convenience.

Brother and I went to Sizzling Lunch today for lunch :) The lunch was literally quite sizzling. ;) Loved the ordering system on the ipad it was quick and efficient. Addition and substitutions was very simple and efficient. The server came by and explained us how it works. Sizzler style hot plates, rice or udon, choice of protein, a ton of toppings and variety of options, deserts, drinks etc. We got : Chicken katsu with curry : + Kimchee, r chilli powder, - mushrooms since am allergic. Loved. Piping hot served on sizzler plate wrapped with a paper for safety. The server told us to fully mix all the food to best experience. Generous amounts of perfectly fried juicy chicken. Kimchee was fantastic. The crispy rice bits stuck to the bottom was the best part. Huuuge portions, my brother and I both ate and still felt full. Loved it. Miso soup: good as always. Simple and comforting. Food came out super quick. Very clean and nice ambiance. Wanna try the udon dishes next time. The 3 sauces on the side were great addition as too. Also the chilli powder had a nice umami to it. My only suggestion: would be great to have a little more variety for chicken/ vegan. I do not eat any red meat and I only had 2 choices.
