The mango sago was very disappointing with spoiled mango taste. Very little mango chunks and pamelo. Worst mango sago I have ever tried.

This place is overpriced for the quality of dessert. I got milk custard with blueberries and it was so unappealing it was disgusting. I threw it into the trash. My $$ went down drain cries

This is a typical Hong Kong-style dessert shop. I ordered White Snow Black Pearl and I will order it every time I go to Hong Kong. My boyfriend ordered Yangzhi Manna, and I thought it tasted pretty good. I’m really happy that I can still eat authentic Hong Kong-style desserts in the Bay Area.

Our go-to spot for Chinese deserts. Really great. Love their sesame paste and red bean soup and mochi balls.

I wish I could leave a no star review. I went to this restaurant to get boba with my able bodied partner and my service dog (I have multiple disabilities). The cashier came up asked us for take out or for there. Then when asked where a restaurant was she began to deny us access and told me my “pet” was not allowed. After trying multiple times to explain that my dog is a service dog that was in gear and on leash. She told us no and refused us service. It is illegal in the US to deny a service animal accompanying their handler. I hope they receive the consequences they deserve.

I would give zero stars if I could. My friend is blind and disabled and has a guide dog from the guide dog foundation. She was recently KICKED OUT for her guide dog being there to assist her and asked for "paperwork". In the US, per ADA law, there is no such thing as paperwork for service dogs or any kind of legal documentation. Her guide dog was raised and trained by one of the most reputable guide dog schools in the country and I can personally attest to the quality of her training and skills. What happened today was horrible and a smack in the face to all of us with disabilities and especially those with service dogs. We pour hours and hours and THOUSANDS of dollars into the maintenance of our dogs training and upholding a certain standard all service animals should be held to and to be kicked out simply for being there and being unable to show "documentation" is deplorable. This business should be ashamed and I truly hope there will be not only consequences to the employee who enacted this violation of ADA rights, but positive changes made to ensure this never happens again

I went to Sweet Honey Desserts after going to 99 Ranch and ordered a Mango Pomelo Sago drink. The drink was overpriced, small and the sago was mushy. There was also no pomelo in my drink. The employee and interior were nice but the drink was so awful it didn’t matter. I was so moved I had to write a Google review.

edit: There was a very small amount of pomelo in the drink.

that’s right, that’s all the papaya in a $10 dessert. Can fit them all in a spoon. And when I asked the owner, she said “well that’s how it is, because the juice is made from papaya too”. So I tasted it and it just tasted like granulated sugar, super faint taste of papaya.
And yes that’s how tiny the mango pieces are (8 pieces in total) and they are super hard and flavorless.
Will never come again. Waste of money

They are super stingy with the fruit. Most other sweet honeys are much better.

I’ve had Sweethoney Dessert years ago when they had a store in Dublin. It was my first time trying the one in Foster City. There was only one other table present when we arrived so our stuff came out rather quickly after ordering. The server was very friendly too.

Since we were not really hungry, we just had snacks, a drink and a dessert. The snacks were not bad, but the Thai curry fish balls were too pricey. 8 small fish balls for $8 - $1 for one small fish ball was too much. I think $6 would have been more than enough, but guess we’d have to blame inflation. 5 wings for $10 was also expensive, but at least they were much bigger. Both were a little spicy, which I liked.

The purple yam sago milk was okay. I liked that it was not very sweet, but it was a bit simple for me. That’s okay since my wife ordered it. I really wanted the mango pomelo sago tofu pudding. The pomelo was tart and the tofu pudding silky. There was mango, but the flavor was weak. If it had better mango, then I would have completely satisfied with the item.

This wasn’t a meal, and it ended up at $37 pre-tip. Think it would have been $30 more to have a satisfying meal for two. I give 3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4 based on its fast food arrival and friendly service.

We ordered the mango pomelo sago (w/ matcha) and coconut milk pudding (in coconut), both of which were good but not great. The mango dessert had little pomelo and the ice-cream did not taste like matcha. The coconut milk pudding was essentially milk inside a coconut (w/ coconut skin); it did taste good, but it could have been more thoughtful. What almost broke our experience though was the cold and unwelcoming service:1. When we ordered two desserts, we were told that we needed to spend at least $5 per person (it was four of us) for dine-in; we were visiting the place after a hearty dinner for some light desserts, so this ask was unwelcome. What was weird was that it was late in the night and the place was basically empty and hence there did not seem to be a good reason to impose this requirement. It would have made much more sense to keep this restriction if the place was busy and they wanted to disincentivize customers to order too little for the time they occupy a table. Again, the minimum order amount itself isn't that high, but it left a bad taste in our mouth and was entirely avoidable.2. They added a mandatory 18% service charge without giving us any say in the matter. We were not happy with their service, so we might have wanted to skip the service charge altogether, so charging us an exorbitant 18% felt unfair. As it stands, I would think twice before going back to this place. I suggest that the place work on their food as well as service quality (the latter needs much more attention) because there's a lot of potential in this place.

A traditional Taiwanese style dessert shop with some of the friendliest staff and the best desserts.I love ordering their mango sago which can be paired with ice cream and other toppings. They also serve decent milk tea, although coming for the desserts might be the better call. The space is well-lit with plenty of tables. Even if it appears full, most times, there's a line of people ordering to go.
