Went in to make an order to go, and was informed that they are no longer taking cash payments during the summer... Since when has that been a policy? Well thank you very much Starbucks at Fowler California you just lost your business with me....

I always order my matcha without ice and I always receive pure foam, but if I order it normally, I always receive the glass full of ice with a little bit of matcha. I think they only want to sell ice and that's not correct.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Fowler Starbucks due to the behavior of an employee named Regina. Her attitude was extremely rude, and the customer service she provided was unprofessional and unkind. I don’t believe anyone’s background should be used as an excuse for poor treatment of others—there should be no privilege or entitlement in the workplace, especially in a customer-facing role.

It’s unfortunate that someone with such a lack of empathy and understanding is representing the Starbucks brand. Encounters like this are exactly why this location continues to receive poor ratings. Working at Starbucks should not make anyone feel superior to others, and if someone cannot treat customers with basic respect and courtesy, they should not be in this field. I truly hope Starbucks corporate looks into this matter—this kind of treatment is unacceptable.

I ordered the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso but when I drank from it , it tasted like pure coffee and not even that, it had such a strong taste, if you’re gonna mess up my order at least have it so it tastes good 😭🙏

I’d like to share a very disappointing and upsetting experience I had during my visit.

When I arrived, I was first in line, but the barista completely ignored me and began taking the order of the person behind me. Thankfully, the gentleman pointed out that I was actually first. Only then did she take my order, and even then, she did so with noticeable attitude and impatience.

When I attempted to pay with a $50 bill, she refused to accept it, again with an attitude, stating that large bills weren’t accepted. Unfortunately, I only had $50 and $100 bills with me. I politely thanked her and told her to cancel my order. I stepped aside so she could continue helping others.

A few moments later, I asked another barista if I could use the restroom. He was kind and began to direct me when the first barista interrupted and said, “Restrooms are only for customers, and you are not a customer.” I tried to explain that I had attempted to make a purchase and was only unable to do so because she wouldn’t accept my bill. Again, she repeated, “You are not a customer.”

The situation was not only humiliating but also uncomfortable for others nearby. In fact, the same gentleman who had spoken up earlier kindly offered to buy me a coffee just so I could use the restroom. I declined, already feeling deeply embarrassed by how I had been treated.

As a longtime Starbucks customer, I have never experienced anything like this before. I truly hope no one else is ever made to feel this way at any of your locations.

i took my two kids to get coffee. my daughters coffee was incorrect but when i went to get it made right i had to say excuse me several times to get the manager Beenie's attention. She seemed annoyed to have to make the drink twice. When my daughter got here new correct drink it was mostly ice as if the manager remaking the incorrect drink was annoyed and retaliated by making a drink with mostly ice. then my son came in with a pizza from the next door business and ate one piece at which time the annoyed manager came to our table and asked us to leave. I didn't say anything and went outside into the cold patio seating which was completely empty due to the cold weather. At that time the manager Beenie came outside and retaliated against us again as if to let us know she is the boss and told us to leave the outside patio seats. Now i can see if we were being rowdy it would have been totally appropriate for us to get kicked out. but that is not the case i'm 52 and i was with two teenagers that didn't say anything while the manager was enforcing her authority on us. i hope starbucks corporate reads this review and lets Beenie know that she acted unprofessionally and inappropriately. Her actions was no way to treat a peaceful family.

Would You Like Some Coffee with Your Ice?

Ah, Starbucks—the place where I go for a coffee and leave with an expensive cup of ice that once had coffee in it. Ordered a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, but what I received was an Iceberg Sweet Cream Drizzle with a whisper of coffee struggling to exist beneath a mountain of frozen disappointment.

I get it. Times are tough. The new CEO is trimming costs, cutting rewards, and apparently, ensuring we all stay hydrated with melted ice water instead of actual coffee. Bold strategy. It’s like Starbucks saw Titanic and said, “What if we put the iceberg inside the cup instead?”

I usually ask for less ice, but I forgot this time—and wow, did I pay the price. My drink was 90% frozen sadness. Honestly, I think the barista was just performing an ice bucket challenge in slow motion. And to top it off, with all the recent changes, Starbucks feels less like a cozy coffeehouse and more like a corporate experiment to see how little they can give you before you notice.

Will I be back? Sure. Will I be annoyed? Absolutely. But next time, I’m bringing my own pickaxe to mine out a sip of actual coffee.

Two stars because the caffeine still made it into my system—just not the amount I wanted.

They accommodated us with an Americano despite a very big holiday order ahead of us, and we were able to get back in the road after a long drive.
