Great food! Coworker and I stopped by to grab dinner and they are not vegetarian. He got the chickenless Pad Thai and I got the Smoky Flavored Fire-Roasted Indian Eggplant. He was very impressed and said the chicken tasted like it was the real thing. My eggplant was delicious. Portion sizes are perfect. Definitely stopping by here again when I am in the area! They have quite a variety of options that I'm excited to try. As a vegetarian, I love being able to order anything on the menu and not being worried about meat products being used in the process. Many items on the menu can be made gluten free and vegan as well.

Wonderful variety of food. Lovely ambience. Great music. Though I was eating alone, It felt like I was having dinner with friends. You will leave feeling uplifted.

Adorable place, and an oasis. Ambiance is OTT Indian. Service is abysmal: "slow food" ethos becomes more like "molasses food," they can't even bring out a chai before the 40 minutes it takes them to make your food, and the waiter has an acid twinkle in his eye. But the food ranges from passable (tofu curry) to quite good (naan) to splendid (ancient grains kitchari), and it is a pleasant oasis, so worth a stop if you have the time and have the craving.

Literally one of the best meals of my life. My friend and I shared the vegan tikka masala with garlic naan and the Thai coconut curry….wow wow wow. 10/10. Service is slow because they make everything from scratch, but 100% worth it. I will need to go on another road trip to come back.Dietary restrictions: Almost everything can be made vegan!

This place was really rude. First off no one was there. Second we waited 40 minutes just to be told it will take 20+ minutes each plate. To say the least you lost 5 customers. Maybe try a proper greeting? Waters maybe? Customer service here needs major help

Read it with the update:I am still in the restaurantwithout my food, been over an hour since we stepped into the restaurant. Don’t really care how good their food is, If you are on your way to someplace and if you value your time, Don’t come here!Update: Got the food after 1.5 hrs, But the food is so good and made with love that it made me guilty of leaving a one star review. The waiter suggested we order/reserve food before hand to avoid wait. Had the thali, authentic Indian.

So great the find this wonderful gem only three miles off the I -5 in the Grapevine. Food is amazing and nourishing. Warm vibes. Wonderful people. The only problem is you can't be in a hurry. Best to order an hour ahead at least by phone. So hard to be a vegetarian on this Freeway and be limited to one or two items at a fast food place. Thank you Happy Cow app.

Amazing food, lovely people. Be prepared to spend some time, as everything is cooked fresh to order and it's a small staff.

Good is good, but you must be very, very, very patient. It takes forever and a lot of times they are out of what you want.

My husband and I were stuck before the grapevine. We did not make our normal stop in Tejon because we wanted to get home. There was a horrible wreck on the five so we pulled over. We found this vegetarian restaurant, which I believe was a total God moment. We were able to see friends that live up here which was a blessing!! The restaurant stayed open later for just us and we had a meal fit for the King. The Pakoras as an appetizer that you have to have it just trust me it is the most delicious thing you'll ever eat and so is there chutney sauce they're mint chutney sauce. Then we all had something different. The golden Thai curry is out of this world. I've never felt so much love and care as how they waited on us. Do yourself a favor don't wait to get gas at Tejon stop here and come eat at this amazing restaurant you will be blessed

It was our second time at the Red Dot and this time around it was even better (given the first time was during the pandemic). The food tasted fresh and the flavors were outstanding. The server was friendly and very honest with us. She noted that the food sizes were large and we didn't listen and ended up with a huge pile of leftovers..

Driving to the Bay Area from LA can get tiring, so me and my family decided to try looking for Indian places. We found this, so we decided to give it a try. Immediately upon stepping in we were greeted by a warm and cozy atmosphere and extremely nice and cooperative staff. Despite being such a small and humble place, this restaurant had more character than I’d seen in many bigger restaurants. The music playing was relaxing and the decorations made everything feel homely and aesthetic. It was almost impossible to choose from their endless menu of worldwide eats, but we decided on a Vegetarian Thali, Pakora, and Mac and Cheese for the little one. They were all amazing. The Pakora was seasoned nicely and dressed in a sauce that made it sweet but not too sweet, the Thali was generously filled but not too much food. Big ***DISCLAIMER*** though: They are a scratch-style restaurant, meaning they make ALL ingredients from scratch and tailor it EXACTLY for the customer who ordered it. This means if you’re not willing to wait an hour, you may have to call before coming. We learned this the hard way, but it was worth it to wait so long. ?Parking: There is a parking lot but it is very small (can fit only 3 or 4 cars). You may need to park in the motel parking lot next door or somewhere along the street.
