WE ORDERED IT IN ADVANCE! Telling a birthday boy half a day before his birthday that they sold out his favorite cake is a great way to ruin the birthday

I bought a hot vanilla latte and the cup was not sealed properly. The very hot coffee spilled all over my legs. I went to the counter and complained, the staff just said “do you want a new cup?” She did not even apologize! The coffee was bland.

Terrible service. Person at the cashier is useless.

Find courteous staff that enjoys to work at the store so customers would like to visit.

Breads are delicious and the popular options always ran out in the late afternoon/ early evening.

Gabby had some very thoughtful and helpful answers to our questions regarding our orders. Drinks came out great.

Worst experience in any bakery store. I would give it 0 if possible.

When I ordered a cake for my kid's birthday, the cashier made notes about how many candles needed on the order. When I picked up the cake, I was told "store policy only allows 5 candles" . I told her I was never aware of this when the order was made. She replied with a cold voice about her store policy. It was only 15 min left to the party started, so I asked whether I can buy some. Again, the same cold and rude reply of her store policy. 85C, you just cannot deliver what the order was made and kept making your customer happy? For a couple candles, is it really worth it? Why do you lie to your customer up-front?

I only go here because it's the closest bakery store to my place. Now this disgusting experience will make me think again.

Shrinkflation. Stale bread. Reduced selection (same bread placed in different shelves). Reduced hours...Open late, closes early (7pm).

Good sea salt coffee.

I ordered a birthday cake for my dad for Labor Day. I showed up to pick up my cake and they said it was sold out even though I ordered it three days earlier. My dad was disappointed he did not get the cake he wanted. No communication was made by the bakery to me about the cake being sold out until I had gotten there.

Closed at 6:58pm and rude employee standing at the door just yelling out “We’re closed”

We ordered a hazelnut oat milk latte along with a pastry that had a slight coffee flavor. While the taste was fine, the pastry felt a bit dry. My friends had two puff pastries, which were decent but not particularly impressive. I've previously tried their mango and tiramisu pastries, which were excellent, but this time the experience was underwhelming. Even the coffee was just average.

This place was dead. Food was looking old and not a very good selection. Would recommend Paris baguette for the same prices. It was not very inviting, disorganized, large space with empty shelves. It was only 12 and the choice was not good. Service was slow. Maybe they can change once it gets busier with the Tesla chargers working now.

Roast and drip of the espresso was spot on. I can not recommend the Caramel pudding more highly.

I had a disappointing experience at 85°C today. While I was in line waiting to check out, it was finally my turn, and I asked the cashier if they had the flavor of cake I wanted. She completely ignored me and ran over to the food pick-up area to talk to a customer who was waiting for their order. There was only one customer with a drink and another employee assisting them. When she finally started to serve me, she didn't bag my breads before checking me out like she did for other customers. After I paid, I asked for a bag for my breads. She told me the bag costs 10 cents, to which I agreed. She then bagged my items. I had to make two separate transactions, one for the breads and cake, and another for the 10-cent bag. This experience was very frustrating and unlike the service I expect from 85°C.
