Salt and pepper tofu was awesome! Fish sauce wings were also excellent. This is my brother's go-to spot and it did not disappoint :)

Clams are flavorful and tender, bone marrow is unique. Interior is aesthetic. Very good place for lunch!

Place was very cute, and food was delicious. But when came to getting our food, everyone's food was served but mine. By the time everyone had finished eating their meal and was ready to go, my meal hadn't even shown up. We told the waitress, and she packed it up and charged us for the containers the food was packed in. After all the long wait, they didn't even give us the container for free. This is ridiculous. Granted it was a Sunday night at dinner time but this wait and getting charged the containers was unacceptable.

The calms w/ basil wine sauce was flavorful and the preparation for the calms was great with n o sand inside the clams.

We came here with our parents for lunch last weekend and I was pretty excited to give it a try since my sister recommended the spot to us. I had pretty high expectations based on recommendations and looking through all of the photos but felt that this spot fell a little short for me. I also think the menu just encompasses too many different types of Asian cuisine. Service was okay, I felt like the take-out orders took priority over customers that were dining in. What we ordered: Spicy Singapore crab dip - this was pretty good, it came with these fried noodle cracker things which I didn't really care for. The crab dip was good with the garlic bread tho. My sister told us it was supposed to come with bread so not sure if they just changed the menu. Garlic bread - was alright, it's garlic bread. Not much to say, the bread was nicely toasted and had lots of garlic flavor. Grilled five spice pork chop - this was my dad's order (not his first choice, he really wanted the Hainanese chicken but they were sold out). He was pretty bummed about this dish. He said the pork chop was really salty. Tom yum noodles - my mom ordered this and I tried a bit of the broth which I thought was just okay. Shrimp Laksa & seafood Laksa noodles - for me, the broth was yummy and flavorful but was not my favorite dish. Nothing wrong with the dish itself, just not for me. Thai Massaman rice with crispy chicken - ordered this based on my sister's recommendation and quite liked this one. I only wish there was a little more curry and served on a different plate. The dish that it's served on makes it a bit difficult to eat, since it was served on such a narrow plate, I couldn't really get the rice and curry together in one bit. The chicken is pretty big so I feel like if you're going to serve it on a dish this narrow, it should already come cut up. And I would prefer a little more curry for the dish.

The bone marrow was overhyped and the amount didn't justify the price but if you are in the mood then go for it. Laksa was very spicy and super flavorful. Their coconut had real pulp and was the perfect amount of sweetness. I will absolutely visit again.

We came with friends for the first time and was told it's a Southeast Asia fusion restaurant. The restaurant filled up quickly. Service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered from our phones and had the Thai Massaman Rice with Chicken, Thai Inspired Hainan Chicken Rice, Crispy Lemongrass Chicken and Amazing Basil Pork with Rice. We all agreed each dish was delicious and delightful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and friendly. It can be a little loud when full. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, Amazing Basil is a must-visit. We will definitely be back for more.

Been a few times for lunch, very good food, great flavor and you are in and out quickly, in a good way. The lemon grass chicken absolutely perfect everytime

A Thai Delight at Amazing Basil! Last night, my wife and I satisfied our Thai food cravings at Amazing Basil and we were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and attentive, enhancing the dining experience from start to finish. We started with the bone marrow, which was absolutely a must-try! Rich and flavorful, it set a high bar for the rest of the meal. The Pad Thai, a classic choice, lived up to its name - it was amazing! Each bite was perfectly balanced, bringing together sweet, savory, and a touch of zest. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and warm, making us feel right at home. Whether you're a long-time lover of Thai cuisine or just exploring, Amazing Basil is a must-visit. They really know how to make a dinner special, and we can't wait to return for more delicious dishes!

I stumbled onto this modern hip Asian eatery, whilst shopping on this strip. Menu has Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysia and even Singapore in their basket. I usually am a bit skeptical on places that pull from too many places, and I felt this place kinda fit the mode. Place is pretty stylish, lots of floral designs that I'm sure attract younger people to gather. QR code ordering system but you pay at the counter. Some servers are more social but most are strictly task oriented. Singapore Chili Crab Toast ($15/3*) Finely shredded crab meat mixture that has a sweet yet spicy texture. Totally reminded me of that bottled sweet chili sauce that often gets served with egg rolls. I like that sauce just fine but when mixed with delicate crab meat, I just felt the crab got lost in all that sticky spicy covering. And the toast base, was more like left out bread versus having a prominent toast where toasty brown notes are acheived. Here the bread was firm enough to hold the saucy crab but no crisp nor aromatic toasty notes. I didn't hate it, I just didn't love it. I think I just like crab in a more natural state like butter or just a hint of quality mayo. BBQ Bowl with Chili Ribeye with added Grilled Shrimp ($15.50 + $3/3.5*) Upon arrival this was an impressive looking bowl, vibrant colors with a diverse amount of components. Egg Roll (4*) I was surprised this was on the plate and made for an impression on value. I actually liked this component the best as it wasn't sitting in any sauce. Crisp and protocol. Rice and Fried Egg (4*) You get to choose a starch or lack of one. Noodle choices are extra $$ adds for some reason, but if I see a rice and egg option, I'll almost always will not deviate. This was another decent part of this bowl. Salad (3.5*) There was a nice salad on the plate with a nice sweetish dressing that I liked. But it was also next to some other salad that I think was part of the beef dish that I didn't like as much, and many bites were mixed so it was hard to isolate the 'good' salad. Chili Ribeye (2*) This is where it got weird for me. First the beef was just stir fried strips of ribeye, cooked to well done status. At this point it could have been like beef round or flap meat and it all would have been the same, just cooked strips of marinated beef. Then this beef laid on a bed of veggies/salad that had a strong lime dressing that reminded me of Thai flavors. But this dressing was so strong that if it touched anything then that's all you would taste for several minutes. And I usually like tart flavors like in ceviche or soups like Tom Yum but this was overboard strong. Grilled Shrimps (3.5*) Smallish shrimps were nicely grilled and still plump. Good natural taste but this also often met that lime sauce and would just blow that shrimp flavor out of the water. I tried to keep this out of that sauce, but was only able to do it to half. So I love the style and atmo of the place, I just didn't love the food. Menu is large and I'm sure I may find something that hits with me. But sometimes a large menu can do the opposite as it may be that much harder to find those things that hit with you. Big toss up on if I wanna play the odds.

The food was very tasty and portions were good for sharing. We wished that we had bigger plates. It's so difficult eating out of a 4" appetizer plate. Though busy we never felt rushed.

We got take-out from here and the food arrived kinda cold. After a few bites, we reheated the food and it was much better. What we ordered: + Lemongrass chicken with garlic noodles - this also comes with an eggroll and egg (extra add-on). The chicken was quite good. The garlic noodles were ok. It tasted like the garlic noodles I make with spaghetti, not like restaurant Vietnamese garlic noodles. + Amazing Chili Ribeye - the ribeye was good but there wasn't much of it. It was drowning in cilantro and onions. + Roti curry - this was excellent. The roti was flakey and chewy and soft. Overall, pretty good food with room for improvement.

Mixed Experience at Amazing Basil & A Cup Of (Fremont) Location: 46831 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539 My girlfriend and I recently dined at Amazing Basil & A Cup Of in Fremont, and while our experience had its ups and downs, there were some noteworthy aspects worth mentioning. First off, the location boasts ample parking, which is always a plus in the busy Fremont area. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious interior, which appeared larger than expected from the outside. The customer service was adequate, although there was room for improvement. My girlfriend's dish was served promptly and she thoroughly enjoyed it. However, my experience with the spicy beef noodle dish was less than satisfactory. The biggest issue we encountered was the lack of communication regarding the wait time for certain dishes. My girlfriend's food arrived promptly, but mine took significantly longer, leaving me feeling frustrated and hungry. It would have been appreciated if the staff had informed me beforehand that the soup dishes take longer to prepare. Despite this setback, I decided not to cancel my order once it was finally brought out, as I didn't want to be wasteful. However, it would have been a much more pleasant experience if there had been better communication from the staff. In conclusion, Amazing Basil & A Cup Of offers delicious food and a spacious ambiance, but there is room for improvement in terms of customer service and communication with patrons regarding wait times for certain dishes.

Food was not bad, I really liked the bone and marrow toast, but it could've used a bit more seasoning. The clam dish was good. We also had the roti, dipping sauce was not spicy so kids were able to eat too. I'm not a big fan of hainese chicken, but it was really good. I really liked the sauce that came with it, although the kids didn't like that chicken was cold, I didn't mind. We also had garlic noodles and chicken wings, also good. Good service and cute decor, will be back.
