I found Amia when I moved here in 2019. I've tried a variety of their vegan and eggless cakes. They were delicious and amazing compared to every other bakery up here. Unfortunately it looks like they've had to downsize in order to remain open. The cake recipes have changed. The quality of cake and the quality of moose fillings are less than what they were before they moved. Very sad. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-11
we've been coming to this bakery since i was in 1st grade and i love them with my whole heart. they've been a part of almost every family bday and occasion all the way up to my college graduation. it's so hard to find a place so accommodating of dietary preferences and allergies without compromising on taste or flavor. i wish they would bring the cinnamon rolls back!! we'll never find another bakery like you guys!!
I bought a readymade cake pineapple and coconut flavor, it was so moist and tasty. Not too sweet like other bakeries. Best for eggless cakes:)
Amia bakery is our go to place for custom cakes. Make sure you order at least a week ahead and they would definitely help you with the customizations. Be it birthday cakes for my toddler or baby shower cakes they never failed to deliver. Their custom butter cream is something that my wife loves the most and trust me it has been really hard to get a good cake that satisfied my wife. Thanks for the wonderful service amia bakery.
Coworkers ordered me their gluten-free mango mouse cake. So delicious! I’ve had other gluten-free cakes before where the sponge was dense and a bit dry, but Amia’s cake was the opposite - moist and spongey. So good! Also I love that it was a light buttercream on top. Not sugary icing. Perfect balance in texture and sweetness. I will request my birthday cakes for here from now on. Yum!
I ordered from them because my daughter has celiac and when I got to the bakery they were shut down and had a sign that says they moved to Newark. So I had to last minute dri e to Newark to pick up the cake. They should have said something over the phone knowing that they had just moved and their address on google says frwmont. I'm mad
Delicious guava cake!
I've always gotten amazing cakes at amia. This time, they gave the wrong cake. It tasted so terrible - ordered mango buttercream cake with mango buttercream frosting. Got a mango butter cream cake with whipped freak frosting. The buttercream middle layer never melted for an entire day, despite being kept outside. The whipped cream melted when we got the cake. We could not keep cake toppers and everyone trashed the cake slices because it was so inedible. The cake layers each tasted completely different.

I ordered an eggless fresh fruit cake , with whip . Even though the mango was not ripe , they put unripe mango pieces in cake … which spoiled the flavour.

This is one of those bakeries in Fremont, where you can walk in and get a eggless birthday cakes or vegan birthday cakes. The guy there is very helpful. Now a days, most people are calorie cutters, for them, here we het small vegan/vegetarian birthday cakes neatly packed and decorated. Candles also available. Don't need to to order veg stuff a day or two before. The cake tastes good and not too sweet also. He said he can make sugar less vegan cakes also.

Amia Bakery is my go-to spot for cakes, especially for their impressive variety of eggless options. They excel at custom orders and always have them ready exactly when promised. The service is friendly and efficient, making the experience even better.
I highly recommend trying the German chocolate cake and the pineapple raspberry cake—both are absolutely delicious. Overall, Amia Bakery is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for quality cakes. Highly recommended!

I had ordered cake for my daughter's 16th birthday, raspberry and mango flavor and it was awesome and everyone enjoyed it at the party..
Nicely decorated, and while I don't need vegan or eggless cakes, it's nice that they offer so many. I ended up going with an eggless mango-raspberry. The white cake was quite flavorful, and the filling even more so. Lasts about two days before getting stale.

Great business, delicious cakes, yummy cupcakes and kind people. They’ll make sure you’re happy with your order, and will also give you recommendations to make sure your cake is as best as can be. Absolutely recommend this store.

I saw some awesome reviews for cake here, and it was my girlfriend's birthday. She specifically wanted German chocolate cake. I placed an order ahead of time and they responded quickly. Cake was picked up and completely ready at the time and day it said it would be with the words I wanted on top. But the taste! I do NOT typically like German chocolate cake, but this cake made a believer out of me. It was the moistest cake I've ever had, the frosting wasn't too sweet, and the flavors were all great together. The whole party thought that the cake was the best chocolate cake they've ever had, including my girlfriend who has had a lot of German chocolate cakes in her lifetime. Thank you Amia for making her birthday just that much more special.
