I went with my family and food good but server Pedro Perez was rude whit my children's and he demanded tip he said don't forget to leave the tip so if I come back I make sure don't have Pedro Perez as a server

I was traving through California. Stayed at a hotel in Fremont. I was able to just walk over to Applebee's. Ordered online, staff was ready and courteous. My order was ready when I got there. I had one small issue with no dressing for my salad and was given a discount for my next visit. No big deal, I would go back again. Thanks :)

10.08.25 1:30pm Server Johnnie gets 5 stars, he was so awesome. Whisky Bacon Cheesburger and Fries were 5 stars, would come just for this meal. Fry oil was very clean and new.
Unfortunately the Spinach Dip Appetizer and the Chili Lime Chicken were too salty and flavor wasn't good. Those dishes were also fresh, both just didn't taste good. Chili Lime Chicken had too much lime flavor overpowering the flavor of the cheese covered chicken.
French Onion Soup was 10x better than Panera Bread's but still wasn't like many years ago's, they may have changed how it's prepared. Soup was good, hot, fresh, ia little too salty, but unmemorable.
Will now be on the hunt for perfect French Onion Soup... maybe at a French restaurant run by actual French chefs.
Coffee was not good at all. At all. Root beer was fine.

10.08.25 Wed Late Lunch -Whiskey Bacon Cheeseburger w.Fries: 5 *fresh, hot, delicious soft bun, burger & bacon cooked well, veggies were all abundant and fresh, fry oil was light & golden -Fiesta Lime Chicken w.Spanish Rice: 2 *very salty and overly limey -Spinach & Artichoke Dip w.Tortillas: 1 *tortillas were cold, spinach & artichoke dip was nauseatingly creamy, salsa wasn't good, prefer Pico de Gallo -French Onion Soup: 3.5 *soup wasn't salty but the cheese laden toast in the soup was very, very salty. Needs less salt, more onions. -Coffee: -5 *bitter, horrible taste, lukewarm, and even with it remade and hot it was still awful. Pass. -Rootbeer: was good -Server Johnnie: 5

Only reason I came back here was that someone gave me a gift card. They must hate me. So, was not busy and we were the only ones waiting, we waited for a host to show up 5 minutes, was seated, didn't see a waiter another 10 minutes, he asked what to drink, we were ready to order by then. Ordered. Appetizer came, spinach and artichoke dip with cheese, nasty, tried once. Food came, I ordered the steak but they don't have horseradish, the guy said, hiw about tarter sauce, no thanks. Had to get up and get our own silverware and napkins, Finished food, he brought the check without me noticing. We wanted dessert, waited 15 minutes for him to come back. Ordered dessert, there was a French fry at the bottom of my dessert. Nothing we ordered had French fries. Ugh. Couldn't get out fast enough. I will avoid coming again.

First time to this Applebees. Got the 2 for $25 deal online for takeout. I opted to pay at the restaurant when picking up the food (there were only apple/google pay options and I was ordering from my laptop). We were greeted by the hostess but she didn’t really speak good English and I’m guessing there was some mix up because we had to wait for like 10 minutes before a waitress came for us to pay and then another 10 minutes for the food to be ready. What is the point to have online order option when you have to go and order the food after you pay at the restaurant and wait for another 20 minutes? Other than that, the employees were really friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was yummy!!! The deal is awesome! We will definitely visit again, just won’t order online.
