Nice service

Have been here twice and I love it very much. Cooked meat myself and it's delicious. The steak sauce reminded me a lot of Taiwanese night market steak.

It seems like a family owned business. May need a little more polish in hospitality, but the Teppanyaki style is unique and the food was good and the price was decent. The portion was a little light and wish there was more. We left the restaurant still hungry.

Bad Service. Server made many mistakes for our table. He forgot eggs, udon, and curry sauce for our orders. The food was also brought out at random times. Once the first person finished their food, the last person's food would be brought out. The restaurant's timing on bringing out food is bad. They should have brought out all the food at around the same time, so our group can eat together.

After hearing great things about this place for TO-GO orders, I had to come give it a try. It all went downhill when the server gave us a table for a large party all the way in the back where it's dark af. There were empty seats all throughout the whole restaurant with about two occupied tables. Nonetheless, I asked if we could move to a brighter area and the server agreed. Ordering was easily done. However, lo and behold. We waited a while for the food. It came out one dish at a time, each with about 5-10min intervals. It seems like they were literally making each sizzling plate one after the other. All had similar ingredients which should've been done quicker. By the time I got mine, half the table was already finished eating! It was bad enough to have me waiting the longest time for the food to arrive. To add on, items in my party's order was missing. Missing egg in two dishes, and for me, missing udon with the wrong sides for my choice of protein. It did not match the picture at all! When I asked for the missing udon to have with the ribeye, the meat on my dish already was cooked to a well done. Tough and chewy at that point. I had to get my noodles on the side with no seasoning at all. They did give black pepper sauce on the side, but I recommend skipping on that! It is super salty. I'd give this place a hard pass.

I reeeallllyyy wanted to like this place, especially with a name like Beer Bear (I love me some good puns). But nothing about this place did anything for me. Ambiance. The first red flag should have been the fact that we walked into a completely empty restaurant on Father's Day when every other restaurant in the vicinity was packed. We thought it was better for us since we wouldn't have to wait to eat. The decor of the place also seems... mismatched. The menu. The food that Beer Bear Grill serves is in a Pepper Lunch-style kind of way with individual teppan style sizzling grills coming out super hot for you to grill your meat and food. But, unlike Pepper Lunch, this menu is ov. er. whelm. ing. There's a front AND back side to the menu, and on each side, there are numerous options to choose from. Black pepper beef, curry beef, black pepper beef and chicken, beef and shrimp, curry chicken, shrimp and scallop, choose your own sauce... and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not sure why there are so many different options listed when, in reality, it's all the same ingredients, just in different combinations. Also, they had an entire barbecue section with skewers and appetizers that sounded really tasty, but our server said they are no longer serving any barbecue because it "didn't fit." Okay... Speaking of servers... Service. Non-existent. Despite the fact that we were one of two (soon to be three by the time we finished eating) parties in the entire place. We would have to flag someone down for anything we needed. The food came out quickly, but other than that, there wasn't much else going on for them. Food. Bland. And I can deal with bland food because they do also have condiments on the table like soy garlic and teriyaki sauce for you to add in. But, you know. That's only a plus if the teriyaki sauce was actually... teriyaki sauce. Instead, it smelled pungent. Like rice wine. And it tasted like rice wine, too. A strong alcoholic taste (and smell) with a tinge of sour. So that leads me to believe that 1) this sauce had gone bad or 2) this is actually how they make teriyaki and it is not appetizing at all. In either case, nope nope nope. High hopes were dashed. If you're looking for sizzling plate food, I'd venture elsewhere.

They increased the price but the portion is less than before . In summer, they did not turn on air condition .. but most of dishes with hot soup and grill.. you can not enjoy foods there Not recommended!

Food tasted fresh, cooked with herbs and spices :) I enjoyed the food, the beer was great. Dont know another place to bring you a sizzling plate for $10 bucks! Service left something to be desired but over all 9/10 would reccomend

Many dishes are good. The stone pot one (forget the name) I ordered tastes pretty good and recommended.

There is ZERO taste, the spicy sauce is only spicy, no salt no anything plain spicy plain rice plain everything. I have never eaten at a place this bad. Unbelievably bad. If you ever want to try out a horrible place, go try it

I like this place! Food is okay, nothing special. But I'll still continue to support this place. We both ordered the hot stone dish (becareful, extremely hot) comes with a drink (black or green tea) which is a plus! Super affordable. This place could actually look really cute, just way too much decor inside, so it looks pretty dark and busy.

Always order 冒菜 in here. And the sizzling plate smell really good. But the #1 for me is 冒菜.

Coming in on a Thursday night with friends, we were craving for kebob and ribeye steak, and found this awesome place which has kebob and ribeye steak, the ribeye came with a tenpan which you can adjust the meat to be medium or medium rare, perfect for us, services were great with the game we requested! watching the game we like with the smooth music, reasonable prices for kebobs. A plus :) will definitely come back again.

Great place. I'm surprised it doesn't have more reviews. Tasty food and good service. Definitely worth a try.
