Lunch specials very nice

Have been going here for years.. recently got a new owner and the menu changed, wanted to give it another try.. Food quality went down and they are not as fast as they used to be. Side dishes are not good anymore.. they used to have those tasty fish cakes and the tofu soup and cheese corn used to be so yummy.. now it’s just so sweet. Longer wait time for our food to come out.. mind you.. they weren’t cooking anything we are cooking the meat ourselves and that still took so long. They also used to bring us waters right when we sat down.. they don’t ask us for what drinks we want or if we want water. We also waited a while.. for water. On top of that, the door was wide open and flies were swarming us. Not a good experience. I would assume restaurants would know not to leave the door open for flies to come in. Friendly staff though. However, there are better places to get Korean food.

Bob Sang Restaurant is a hidden gem near the Tesla plant in Fremont. So far, I've tried the Galbitang, Kimchi Jigae, Bulgogi, Spicy Pork, and the latest is Seoul Style Bulgogi – really great with very tender marinated beef – tasty!
Very friendly service with the small side dishes happily refilled. This restaurant has found its way into my list of regulars.

Food: My friends and I are a group of 4. We went in 30 minutes before their last order and the owner is still very welcoming.
We ordered Combo set 1, tteokbokki, bibim noodle and BBQ Galbi. It was a feast, more than we expected, especially the combo. We finished everything and it was probably by far the best Korean dish I’ve ever had in Bay Area.

Service: super helpful and warm. Though I’ve never understand why Korean food here list with such high price, but the service and food we got here worth the price!

Ambiance: nice and clean. A good place for 2 or more people to enjoy nice food.

Let me tell you! I’m just staring to expand the horizons on my taste buds and I’m not too familiar with Korean food but this place blew my mind! I had the Seoul Bulgogi & spicy tofu soup and I would 10/10 recommend!

Really loved the food here. The staff is very kind and the food is very comforting authentic Korean. Reminds me of good home cooked food. Absolutely will visit again.

The new Seoul-style Bulgogi is great.

Korean style bulgogi is absolutely delicious—perfectly marinated, tender, and full of flavor. 10ish small side dishes are also delicious and fresh. The service was warm and attentive.

I ordered the cold noodles. It was such little portion. I paid 25 with tip total. I expected to be at least full.

$3 for a bowl of rice is insane

I love their lunch bento with very reasonable prices. Portion is great and service is fast. Lots of seating!

If the main dishes had been better, it would've been a 4.5-5. The spicy squid was quite tough but the sauteed vegetables with it were wonderful. The BBQ chicken was pretty boring.
The sides with the lunch specials were fantastic. All very, very tasty.
Excellent service.
