I like boiling point chain but this one is too noisy, music too loud, you’re sitting very close to the table next to you. Not a very good environment to have private conversations

Decent Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Very loud and rice was not fresh though. Also the soup was very salty. Quite noisy inside and the menu was very poorly designed with how they basically upload a picture of what I would guess was a paper menu they used to give out. Not sure I’d come back here given rice was not fresh and rather pricy compared to similar caliber hot pot places in other cities.

If you have a dietary restriction and have food here, you will most certainly have problems later as servers don’t give a thing about customers. Food is great. Just bare with the constant mediocre service.

Best place to take your date. My wife loved it.

There was an incredibly rude male server who gave us bad looks that made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. He got the wrong ingredients in our order and when we asked him to correct it he lost his temper and yelled at us and tried to blame us. I didn't know they hired such incompetent people here. Their food is incredibly shallow and bland. We were given around 10 dollars worth of ingredients paid over $50 for the entire meal. This store is cheap and treats its customers like trash. The male server is incredibly creepy and stared at my mother with this lustful gaze and we were terrified of him. Do not eat here.

Was there for their birthday special. You can have a free small hotpot and drink on your birthday. No minimum party required.

Very disappointing dining experience. There were several empty tables inside, yet the staff completely ignored them and kept customers waiting outside for a long time. No explanation, no apology — just cold and indifferent service. With this level of service, I won’t be coming back.

I have long been a loyal customer to Boiling Point. But the “11. The Hot Green” pot i just had was just horrible. Like I get it that the point of this pot is to have Sichuan pepper to make your mouth numb, but they added so much to a point that the entire pot just tasted bitter — literally every bite is just sole bitterness, no flavor of the meat or veggies or anything else.

Do not order 11. The Hot Green.

I went there with my Taiwanese friend for dinner after a hike. The restaurant wasn't crowded, and ordering food was easy by scanning a QR code. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with soft music playing in the background. Our food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The scallion bread was especially good, not too salty and the stir-fried cabbage was cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were generous too. I’ll definitely be coming back with my family. It’s just a few miles from Highway 101 and easy to find using Google Maps.

Boiling Point used to be my go-to for something quick and cozy. The individual hot pots always hit the spot. I don't know what happened lately but it hasn't had the same quality as it use to. Mind you I use to eat this at least once a week.

The takeout portions barely come with enough broth to cover the toppings, and the soup itself feels more watered down than it used to. Portions used to be generous, but now they feel noticeably smaller. It’s disappointing, because this place used to be so so good.

Hope they turn things around because when it was good, it really is one of the best comfort meals around

Terrible service and ever increasing pricing

I was a guest with my god daughter and her parents.

Long wait on a weekday lunch (40 minutes). Inattentive young staff. I feel like they're missing a manager / owner presence.

Lackluster food and if you're selling point is the experience then the experience you must have going for yourself, which they don't really.

If you want hot pot and better service or experience explore elsewhere first

I ordered mild spicy and what I got was definitely not mild. Unlike before, my whole milk cream curry soup base this time was covered in redness to the point I cant see any curry color, and every bite came with clumps of chili paste. The ingredients also seems to have changed, affecting the taste, and not in a good way.
The service is also very commonly slow and unwelcoming, such as the waitress forgetting to bring us napkins when we just told her 1 minute ago. Water also seems to be something we need to ask for while hoping they don’t forget.
In my years of eating Boiling Point, the quality seems to continually decrease over time. My visit today was the final straw.
