Chole bhature and pani puri is highly recommended. All the dishes that we ordered were amazing. My kid loved it too.

Let's start with the fact Chapatta is a pure vegetarian restaurant. This is my to go spot for chaat & vegetarian food. I have been going to Chatpatta from the day they opened in Newark by Adenwood, since a teenager, its been almost 13+ years now. Also the fact it's been in my neighborhood for so long, not many folks know as the store is tucked in the corner behind Jack in the box, by Dumbarton bridge car parking lot.I like talking with the Auntyji in Hindi, even though my hindi isn't that strong. It gives a good home vibe.My favorites are Dhahi Sev Puri & Choley Bature, I always get their masala chai, it's a must?.I have tried everything on their menu, and I can definitely say food & chaats are good.Updated: January 2024They do take card payments now & are in doordash since the pandemic. Cash is mostly preferred.Make sure you clean up after your meal if you plan to dine in. They have free Wifi.

After all these years, the same family runs the place. It's one of the best places for panipuri or golgappa or phuchka.Everything else is excellent as well. The food is quite good. Really busy and popular.
