Excellent food .panner burji dosa puri masala cheese garlic dosa and top it off with excellent coffee
The food was really good. My wife and I entered only 2 minutes before closing but Surendra was very helpful and courteous and we are well. Highly recommend.
I’ve been to many South Indian restaurants in both India and the Bay Area, and this is one of the worst I’ve ever tried. There are much better South Indian restaurants nearby.”
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. First, I saw the cashier handling money and then immediately preparing food without washing his hands. When I asked him to wash his hands, he looked visibly annoyed. That’s basic food safety — it shouldn’t be something customers have to point out.
What made it worse was that he then asked a staff member — who I had just seen cleaning the restroom — to prepare my takeout order. That’s completely unsanitary and unacceptable.
On top of all this, the food quality has noticeably gone downhill over the years, yet the prices have gone up. And now they prompt for a tip on takeout orders? For what service, exactly?
I’ve supported this place for a long time, but this experience was a huge letdown. Also, a reminder to the staff: don’t judge someone by how they’re dressed — respect goes both ways.
Great taste and good quantity. The ambience could be better but unbeaten taste.
Edit: lately the masala in the dosa is reduced to bare minimum. My last order barely had any masala in it. Just a spoon full in the entire dosa.
Dosa batter was very stale and it didn’t taste nice.
Best dosas ever
Wow! Amazing place. Way under rated. Loved the butter masala dosa and idiuppam ❤️

The guy at the counter was extremely rude. He had issues with us ordering separate dine in order and separate order for take away. He was banging the screen in anger and upon asking if ordering again is an issue he said yes it’s an issue. The place wasn’t even crowded at that time. The food was good but we will not go again till they change the cashier there

We ordered a combo, chapati and gongura dosa. The taste was amazing especially Vada and sambar ?? . This is a small and cute shop and will give you some nostalgic moments. The flavors were fantastic.
This eatery is in prime spot and gets crowded very easily so expect delays. For us the Gongura dosa took forever ?.
