The guy met at the door asking I’m delivery guy? After saying no he said what then ? ??? My answer was like : can’t I eat here? Then he woke up finally ?Asked for soup and burrito. I had my burrito but not the soup, so I canceled it.Service 0, especially the first greeting ??Food was fine.

I grew upIn Fremont, My family and I knew Diego personally. Since he was a chef at LaCasitas. I followed this man To both businesses he started. all the way until he passed away. Have been out-of-state for quite a few years and when I came back I couldn't wait to go to El patio., I was so disappointed with the food. Everybody in my family bought something different. Everything was too salty. The refried beans were from a can, The chiliVerde Which used to be my number one dish. I would not even consider it Chile Verde. To be honest, I don't know if the family still owns it., But I don't think I'll go back.

The waitress was very nice and she seemed to be the only one there so service was slow . The food was very bland and did not taste fresh. The margaritas we're okay. The restaurant needs to be updated torn and ripped seats.

We’ve been coming here for many years, since they were in Glenmoore shopping center. We used to work a few doors down. Everything is good .We go here for lunches, dinner out, and with pandemic take out , and continue still on those busy nights we don’t want to cook. And when we’re not feeling well, their chicken soup is best!! We get a couple quarts at a time.

Fish tacos were delicious! Very lightly battered. Generous amount of fish. Chicken Chimichanga was also very good!

The El Patio Original Restaurant is the best! That's what my pal Pedro Gonzales Gonzales told me after I hooked up a Grizbaldi's Planklifter to the back of his 56 Roadmaster. All he could say was WOW! He said it about 20 times and then bought me lunch at the El Patio Original Restaurant. I got a Quesadilla filled with frejoli refritos and cheese, and all I can say is WOW!5 Stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

The Original El Patio was in the Glenmore Shopping Center. The original owners moved to this location and several years later sold the business. The menu has more offerings now, but food quality is inconsistent. Today the service was just okay, but nothing like it was back in the day. I do come here often, but remember how it used to be.

I have a long history of this restaurant dating back to the 70's when I thought it was a great place. So, after a long absence, I had the chance to visit with friends. This experience didn't live up to my recollection. The food was decent, my cheese enchiladas were so-so (there didn't seem to have onions, brown vs red gravy, no choice of moles sauce) but my friend's taco salad (sorry, not sure it might have been fajitas salad) looked very good, and another friend's wet super burrito was huge. Service was fine, <a bit of confusion on the desserts, but everyone was happy> and the margaritas were good. It's a large space that can handle parties or large groups.
