Finding authentic Mexican food that actually tastes like home is rare, but this place nailed it. Every bite reminded me of my family’s cooking. I brought my entire family here, and everyone from the kids to the adults absolutely loved it.
The flavors are genuine, the service is warm, and a huge thank you to Evelyn and Liliana for taking such great care of us! They were so helpful and made our family dinner feel even more special. We’ve definitely found our new favorite spot. 10/10!

Called for an order of rice and beans to go…. Charge was 10.95 for both as quart…. Both was low warm the cheese on the beans wasn’t even melted because that’s how under warm it was. The rice was same temperature and was even filled up. The total price was 24.14 and that’s the quality of food and service I get…. Wow

The food is very authentic. I am very picky about my mexican food and this place checks all the boxes. Bar area is beautiful and the staff is always so nice. This is definitely my newest favorite hangout in Fremont for Mexican food, drinks. The vibe is on point. Dont forget to try to soup 😋

Ordered two burritos - about $16.5 per burrito for takeout.
Burritos were decent, not bad, not great - good quantity of food though.

First time here. Spoke with the owner who recently did additional renovations to the restaurant. Ordered their Chile Rellenos for lunch. Tasty and good sized portion with a reasonable price. Interior decor is very rustic with a horse theme throughout. They even have life-size horse statue in front. Great for families. Very casual with an extensive open bar area. Free parking in front. Very good Mexican cuisine. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

This is an excellent venue for both dining and watching sports. The service stands out, as the staff eagerly customizes kids' meals to meet any requests.

The interior decor and horse prop outside gave me the impression of a potentially great dining experience. My wife and I were promptly served and seated. My expectation was to enjoy Mexican food. Nothing could have been further. First, there no chile in the chile. How can you have Mexican food with no chile? Fail. I order the super burrito.
It was far from super. The shredded beef tasted like it was boiled in water. No flavor whatsoever.
The beens taisted like they came out of a can.
No flavor again. Fail. The rice was comical. No spices used whatsoever. I may as well have ordered white rice with no salt. Awful.
The music was a fail. Too loud. Who plays country music in a Mexican restaurant? FAIL.
The service however was outstanding.
Too bad the rest was a complete disappointment.

My husband and I just finished having dinner at El Rodeo. This was our first time and we had high hopes for a great dinner based on the reviews and the restaurant was busy.

My biggest gripe was the flavor of the food. I ordered a grilled chicken burrito. Super simple. What can go wrong? It was the blandest chicken burrito I’ve ever had. The beans and the rice in the burrito had no flavor. None. There was no cilantro either. And they put the guacamole and the sour cream on the side.

I asked for some chile to spice up my burrito and they brought me a red enchilada sauce that tasted like it came out of a can. I was SO disappointed. No, I can not call this authentic Mexican food. Authentic Mexican food has depth in flavor. It doesn’t have to be spicy but it does have to have sabor.

Now I said the restaurant was busy and I believe they are successful because they cater to a demographic that prefers a blander diet. So if that’s you then this restaurant is for you. If you prefer Mexican food with a little more sabor then go somewhere else.

That being said, they have great service and the place is clean.

This place is amazing, yea theirs a few minor complaints i have for example the chips. I wish they had a different type personally and/or house made the chips. Ive ordered a wet burrito, to fajitas from here and all around can say one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. The food especially the fajitas is priced super competitive might even be lower than most places even for the 3 meat combo plate. But the price doesn't affect the quality. The rice is awesome not dry, or bland got that perfect tomatoey type of flavor. The beans, im not even a bean fan but im able to eat these , especially with the chips
