This place was a rip off. Ordered the lamb kabob plate with salad and kabuli palau ($2 extra). The lamb was overcooked and soggy like it had been sitting precooked for too long. The palau just the cooked carrots and raisins on top of bland white rice; the order included like a pound of rice for some reason. And I didn't even get my salad that was listed on their description of my order on their website. I guess I should have investigated the order prior to leaving. Just seems like minimal effort on their part to try and put together the order.

Every time I go to this restaurant, the food was amazing. It is as if I am eating at my late grandma’s house. I really appreciate the time the chef takes to make sure the food is right and authentic.

I waited over 40 minutes for white rice, charred lamb and older looking lettuce and paid $30 with dessert. Absolutely not worth the loooooong wait

The food was really tasty and good portion size. Thank you for serving me on the warm 4th of July day. I noticed that inside the restaurant it was even warmer probably from all the kabobs grilling. The chicken kabobs were juicy and the bolani was the most delicious I've had so far. Highly recommend this place.

We were out on errands and of course needing some lunch on the way home. I kept seeing Express Kabob Grill on my Yelp search results so I figured, why not? In short, not a bad option for kabobs but I wouldn't say it was "express." I N S I D E There's kind of two sides to the place. One more sit down and the other just a to-go area. Plenty of seating inside as well as outside if you want to dine there. No one was there when we dropped by. O R D E R I N G There was an ordering kiosk but when we wanted to order a 2 kabob combo, that wasn't on the menu, so we had to order at the cashier instead. We were asked what kind of rice we wanted of course the one with raisins and carrots sounded delicious, but we didn't know it came at a premium (+$2). It would've been nice to have been told that it would be extra. ~ Manto ~ It looked great, but when eating it, I was a little disappointed to know it was just filled with just some veggies considering we were asked veggie or meat. I was expecting it to be filled with meat, but I guess the tomato-based sauce was where the meat was. ~ Chicken Kabob ~ It was a little dry but seasoned well. I would get this again as on option. ~ Beef Shami Kabob ~ The beef shami was like a grounded seasoned patty. It was fine, again a little dry. I think I prefer normal kabobs more. ~ Rice ~ Probably what I enjoyed the most out of everything. Slightly sweet, plentiful and went well with the meat. So I guess the extra $2 was well worth it. ~ Salad ~ Was just a bit of ice berg lettuce and cucumber. The chutney was a nice compliment to the meats rather than the actual salad. S E R V I C E There's not really anyone at the front, but someone does pop up to say hi to ask if you need any help or questions. We easily paid by card. We were told it would take roughly 15-17 minutes, so we ended up going to grab boba relatively nearby to pass the time. When we came back it was still not ready. I would say it took roughly 25 minutes to get our food from when we ordered. O V E R A L L It's a fair option to get your kabobs. I would stick to the chunks of meat versus the shamis. Go ahead and splurge on the rice unless you don't like raisins or carrots. I'm a little lucky as I have sumac at home and I ended up sprinkling a bunch of it on what I was eating. They do have sumac sprinkled on the dishes, but I like my sumac everywhere! I would probably skip the manto. Other than that, just make sure to order ahead as it did take some time to get the food. But definitely try them out!

The setting was pretty nice and relaxing. The food was good too. We are the chicken kebab, and it was pretty good. Good didn't take that long to make, so that was a plus too. Overall, nice place to eat at. :)

Such a delight - I have had the best chicken wrap at this place. I liked especially that the chicken was tender, the vegetable fresh and the sauce flavorful. And the owner is super nice.

What an amazing find. I came here for Dinner and the food was absolutely delicious.

Poor fellow. He seemed to be THE only one cooking for the ToGo side and I think also the restaurant side. However, he said he had a very busy lunch, but took our online order and then placed others on hold until he had time to take more. Long wait (not his fault), but very kind and VERY good food! Oh man...the Lamn Shank?! Fall off the bone tender. Rice? Excellent! Fresh salad. Will DEFINITELY return!!
