We found them through Fremont restaurant week and were impressed with the food and service. The food was very tasty and the main course is a big portion. We liked their tiramisu because it wasn’t overly sweet. The staff was super nice and friendly. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The building has an old history and doesn’t look like much from the street but walking through the door transfers you into a lovely dining experience. The menu is more of a suggestion than a hard line “you have to choose” from this. If you have a hankering for something just ask your server and more than likely the kitchen is going to whip you up something absolutely amazing that will delight your tastebuds, completely fresh on the flash! I have always enjoyed Caesar salad but tend to avoid them because of the sheer sodium and caloric value of them but let me tell you theirs is made fresh daily and is absolutely amazing, I am so glad I did not skip it! My hat is off to this delightful family owned and operated restaurant

A cozy gem in the historic Niles - Federico's Grill in Niles captures the essence of a museum with its dark, cluttered atmosphere brimming with a diverse array of art, ranging from Argentinian and modern to pirate-themed and art deco. It's like stepping into a living history. The owner, Rico, enhances this experience with his exceptional kindness and attentiveness, making every guest feel like a long-lost friend.Nestled next to the train tracks in historic Niles, the setting is as picturesque as it is convenient. But what truly stands out is the food. From the exquisite crab cakes to the rich and creamy fettuccine Alfredo, Federico's offers an authentic Italian culinary adventure. The generous portions and endless supply of warm, freshly baked bread only add to the allure. While it's unfortunate that the restaurant no longer offers brunch, a temporary setback due to Covid, there's excitement in the air about its planned return next year. In the meantime, the live music on Wednesday evenings provides a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.I wholeheartedly recommend Federico's Grill to anyone visiting Niles. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this unique spot is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Had a great experience tonight! Great food, crab cakes for appetizer, then I got the salmon penne pasta..so good! Though I wish they had put fresh Parmesan on top. ‍My husband got the Chipotle pork..which was excellent! Fresh water infused with a bit of lemon I think, and when I asked for lemon got several small lemons cut in half, perfect for squeezing. Just wish they had a better vinegar sauce for dipping the bread, just vinegar and oil bottles on the table. Could you add some garlic and rosemary or other herbs? Anyway, we loved it with all the eclectic art in the back patio. Good ambiance.

Federicos is the absolute best, I love this place. Amazing raviolis, poke and bruschetta - my faves, but everything is great. Filled with art and whimsy and a sweet patio outside, often with music.

My friends and I had a delightful and memorable dinner at Federico's Grill on Thursday evening. We dined on the outside patio where we could eat and converse in a charming setting. We loved the food, the ambiance, and the attentive service! Rico, is both the owner and executive chef and he also served us dinner. He does it all! He was charming and made us all feel warmly welcomed. We had Sangria & bruschetta to begin our meal (delicious) and for dinner, our group of six had Beef Wellington, rack of lamb, crab raviolis, crab cakes, spinach and ricotta raviolis, and rigatoni. Everything wasexcellent. My friends and I were celebrating a 50th high school reunion and Rico enhanced our special evening. I highly recommend this restaurant. Having Rico serve you is an unforgettable and happy experience.
